One camera or two camera scenes can be shot equally effectively. I do not say that 1 camera is better than 2 or 2 is better than 1. What matters is the final look and feel. Did I enjoy the scene or did I find the camerawork distracting? When there are 2 cameras and there are lots of intercuts between scenes, to the extent that I cannot see the face of the female to verify that she actually did the scene as oppose to some fancy editing, I immediate call the scene a fake. To me any scene without the actual proof that the talent did the scene, with either a full body camera shot or a pan to the face, is a fake. I know objectively that the scene is real, but the actual satisfaction of seeing the scene is lost. The original reason for the facial is to show to the viewer that the sex is real and not faked.

With many of the two camera scenes in Anabolic, there is a lot of intercut between the rear camera and the side camera, but rarely are there segments showing a full body with the face of the female talent visible or a pan from the close-up of the sex action to the face of the talent. In other words, there is no proof that the scene is real. This is actually easily solved by having the side cameraperson sometimes move to the rear and shoot from the rear. Yes, the rear camera will be blocked temporarily, but this provides the proof needed to determine that the scene is not faked. When the side cameraperson tries so hard to avoid blocking the rear cameraperson, to the extent that the side and rear both miss the crucial scenes, then the 2-camera method fails.

Also, the 2 camera edits in Anabolic are often distracting. When you have a cut that lasts for 1 second, that 1-second cut is distracting. GBG 30, GBG31, GBG32, GBG33, Un-natural Sex 5, GBA 7, GBA 8, etc. all have 1 second cuts. I see a 1 second display of a black and white combo somewhere and before I know it, poof, it is gone. Such cuts are distracting to me because the cuts do not accomplish anything more that piss the viewer off. What is the purpose of showing a 1 second black/white reverse cowgirl double anal, when I cannot see the insertion, the face, or get an idea of what is going on. Such edits work for trailers but have no place in the actual movie.

Basically, there are many ways to skin the cat and what counts to me are the final look and feel and not the editing or camerawork. Good camerawork and editing should be completely unobtrusive. I cannot see anything wrong or right and I do not get the feeling that I am seeing an editing movie. When the camerawork or editing draws attention to itself, then the camerawork or editing is generally bad. A good editor or camera person gets zero praise, and the best thing I can saw about a great camera person or editor is I did not notice any editing or camera mistakes. Basically good is defined by the absence of any errors or mistakes.

Both scenes in this movie are really well shot and have great energy . Alana Evans is a perfect gang bang girl and her mother/daughter act with Molly Rome is really hot and pretty funny in a twisted way. Molly learns her lessons well and is nearly as big a slut as Alana. Kristina Black is the prettiest girl of the bunch and she handles the gang just fine. No A for this coed looking babe with the million dollar eyes, but she makes up for it with two other willing holes. This is just another great volume of the best gang bang series on the market . Overall rating A-

Cal, it is good that you are taking the comments seriously with the goal of making the edits better. It is not that I dislike Anabolic/Diabolic products. On contrary, many of them meet my taste, but I have found that the gangbang series and several other series have camerawork and edits that detract from the movie. Basically, the movies were okay or good, but could have been excellent with better camerawork. The recent releases shot by Erik (one camera) are often excellent. If you want a good example of how the camera and edit should be, see Shyla's scene in 2-on-1 12. Now that was a good scene.

Also, 2 camera scenes can be very successful if the director and cameramen use both cameras effectively. If both cameras are stationary and static, then crucial scenes may be missed. Both (not just one camera) must move continuously and try to capture all the crucial scenes including all verification shots. If the verification shots are missing or lacking, the whole scene is ruined.

Sometimes a few more seconds of the actual penetration before the cut to the rear action can provide much greater coherence. You like to show the beginning of the penetration from the side (in a 2 camera scene) and just before the actual penetration cut to the rear camera and show the penetration in close up. While the rear camera shows a closer and better angle, the continuity and thrill of seeing the starlet getting poked is ruined . How do I know this scene is not faked[ ? This happens again and again in GBA 8 with Shyla and Kimberly's scene. It also happens in most of the 2 camera scenes. If you have showed the complete penetration of Shyla and Kimberly from the side for 3 more seconds with the camera panning to the face (either before or after the penetration) and then cut to the rear camera, the reality would have be maintained. As is, the whole scene screams fake . I know that Anabolic does not fake the scenes unlike many companies that shall remain nameless, but nevertheless, my point is, unless the crucial verification shots are there, it is fake to me, and to many other viewers. I have at this point lost interest in the scene.

I truly hope that GBG 34 rocks after all the delay. This scene was taped a long time ago. I am guessing 16 months ago, but it was shot at least 12 months ago. It should have been released at least 6 to 9 months ago and in both formats. Shyla has had her boob job a lot time ago and is no longer relevant or of interest to most fans. Anabolic is one of the few manufacturers that has a 3 to 6 months delay between video and DVD (except for GBG 34). I hope that all future releases will be in dual format.

If GBG 34 rocks and has good camera and editing, I will be the first to congratulate you, Cal. I just want Anabolic/Diabolic to produce up to its full potential rather than have the best action, the most gorgeous talents, and still have bad camerawork reduce the impact of its releases.

If you read the full sentence, what I said was, "I may have been exaggerating for some scenes but not for all scenes." You deliberately left out but "not for all scenes." I stand by my statement about 1 second cut, because I just checked GBA 7 and it was a 1.5 seconds cut. I rest my case.

Anabolic/Diabolic we have 25 on going pieces, when you come
out with broad overall statments such as they're editing
