It's strange the last couple of days I've had to log in twice to actually log in. My password and member name are accepted the first time but the forum stays in lurk mode for lack of a better name (can read threads, but can't post and no avatars show) until after I go back and do the member name and password thing again. At first I thought maybe I was already logged in and was logging myself out but I noticed it was definitely a login box I was clicking on to start. Also if I was logging out wouldn't the forum have reset itself to the page I was on when I logged out? This was kicking me to the main forum index everytime just like it normally does when one logs in.

If I restarted the web service while you had an active session you would see that type of behavior.

Well I am no longer having problems logging in. Simply because the forum is not letting me log out. I just hit the logout box and the page refreshed with nothing happening I am still listed as logged in.

edited to update: I was able to log out from this page and then log right back in. I then went to the front page of the forum and hit log out three times in a row with nothing happening other the page refreshing itself each time.

I haven't looked into it yet, but I don't think I will. There's a compeltely new and different login/logout system coming soon.

yes, I've been having that problem for the last few days also. Since I've been using two or three different systems I thought the trouble was mine singularly. But I see others have been having the problem as well.

cool. Drew, if this helps. One way to log out that ive found is to go to the "Register to Post" page and logout there which works fine.

(*PS I actually posted this yesterday but for one reason or another it didn't go through. But I decided to pass along anyhow. Thanks)
