When I try to fast forward this dvd the screen gets really jerky and sometimes it freezes the whole pc. Anyone else have any similar problems? BTW I have a pioneer 104s dvd drive with the hollywood plus decoder card.

If you fast forward it 10 times..how many times does it happen? Try that test.
I think this happens to all dvd players. It happens to mine..and I own a Toshiba 3109.
It happens once in a blue moon though..even with mainstream titles. It's no biggie I guess..I mean the player is skipping and jumping ahead to fast and skipping chunks of information and so the lens perhaps gets confused.

I'll try to be more elaborate on waht happens. when I click on the fast forward button I see the exact still picture that was on the screen at the time I pressed the button. Intermitantly you can kinda see the actual fast forwarding motion but it's so quick you can't even tell what's going on. You just mainly see the still pic kinda flicker. The problem with ff'ing it 10 times is that itsometimes resumes normal play for me but the majority of the times iit actually freezes the program that I use and I have to ctrl/alt/del to shut the prog down. THis just drives me crazy becaause I am a fast forwarder.

Oh man..I noticed something. I had no idea you had a dvd-rom. Dvdrom's have too many glitches and don't perform well against any set-top dvd player. That right there could be your problem. Dvdroms do odd things that dvd players don't do..I have been through it too many times.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but there were widespread problems with the first Kelly the Coed. Apparently the duplicator screwed something up. I don't know if they're still using the same duplicator - or if the probs are at all related.
