I am trying to find a movie from the late 70's or early to mid 80's. I don't remember many names but the story was basically around a guy trying to fill a part for a movie he was making.

Scene 1: can't remember
Scene 2: woman sneaks into office to meet with director. Her name might've been Veronica but no guarantee
Scene 3: 2 guys meet a girl at a bar and tell her about movie
Scene 4: girl from scene 3 meets director from scene 2
