It serves no purpose other than mislead viewers. Like, at least in Arya 2 Tushy scene her tattoo is covered by make-up during scene as well so previews aren't misleading. Though still doesn't make sense to cover it up because her chest tattoo looks classy and wouldn't look out of place in Lansky content. [Link]

For me, it's not a matter of it being "misleading," the problem in some instances is that when they clean a girl up for the photos, it just doesn't feel like I'm looking at the same girl who is in the video. An example that sticks out in my mind is Morgan Lee-with all of her tats "photoshopped" out for the scene photo gallery, there was a drastic difference between photoshopped Morgan and real life Morgan. Personally, as much as I love the softcore/solo stills, their penchant for removing tats and other "obstructions" in their photo galleries takes away from the quality of the photos; I'd rather see these girls in the photos just as they are in the video.
