I'm not too into Lansky's style even though if I step back I can admire it aesthetically. So if a favorite performer of mine is on one of his sites I might check out the trailer but that's usually how far it goes. I'll wait for the performer to work with a director or company I am more interested in. That's my choice as a porn consumer. There's a certain ... fluidity or organic feel that's missing from most of his current releases. Click to expand #1 - For me, it's not necessarily even about firsts, and there's never the hope or expectation of seeing something that breaks the Lansky mold (I think I'll leave that typing error uncorrected). When it comes to the point where the director and/or performers kill something that should be memorable, I might comment - especially if everyone else says how wonderful it looks. #3 - There's an AVN interview with Eva about the showcase where she basically describes a day (or 2 weeks) at work. Sums it up, really. It's like that, cuz that's the way it is. [Link]

Very rarely will I go out of my way to watch a scene from a girl I like for a studio/site/director that I'm not really a fan of. For instance, Jules Jordan Video fell out of favor with me a couple years ago, so no longer do I keep tabs on what they're releasing or comment in their Porn News - Press Releases thread. I mean, I could repeatedly complain about what I don't like about their videos, but I just find that to be a waste of time and, frankly, a nuisance to the other members in the thread who are actually fans of JJV. Additionally, I figure why bother commenting/complaining about a site I haven't been a member of in years?
