^ I don't think it's a 'colour scheme'! The top pic was filmed in natural light with little or no studio lights while the bottom one has full studio lighting. TBH I much prefer the more recent 'look'. The early scenes on Tushy/Vixen were often far too dull which gives the 'washed-out' almost colourless look that you can see here.
Yeah, I think these are bad examples. Alina's scene looks pretty, unlike most modern VMG scenes which look very unnatural indeed, while Sara's scene looks dull, when old Lansky scenes were all very pretty.
