For a brief period they were releasing scenes that were large in video size (for them) at about 2GB per scene at 720p. Looking back now and every single video has been removed and replaced with something that resembles a very poor streaming quality version under 500MB.
How do they get away with it? All their videos prior to mid-2016 have been replaced with what they state is 720, when in actual fact it's anything but 720.
I can just about accept Brazzers doing it, their video quality isn't as bad as some of the drama queens like to make out, they're encoded much better than the ones from previous years were, but Twistys videos pre-2017 are an absolute joke, surprised no one has kicked up more of a fuss.

So they basically cheapening out by making smaller sizes, shittier quality to save server space cost? That sucks.

It's disgraceful, no wonder people resort to pirating stuff when these companys start doing stuff like this.
That entire network of sites on Porn Portal has been the same for years now, they're making zero effort to get with the times.
Twistys used to be one of the better sites IMO, like RK it's gone way down hill over the last few years.

Yeah, their parent company probably makes most of their income from pornhub, so they care less and less about the porn portal networks. Although brazzers and twistys seem to have a pretty big subscriber base, so it sucks when they cheap out on video quality.

Its not just twistys. Porn can not thrive in this era of free porn. More and more studios are taking drastic cost-saving measures. Some have even resorted to trying to flat out rip the (paying) customers just to see if they bite(i.e. naughty America). There is no incentive for most people to pay for porn now. Even those who would pay for it are being affected now by the "cost-saving" measures because the fewer paying consumers have to supplement all the free porn out. Nothing to do except move on and accept it. Others will disagree but porn has been on the decline now for years.

^ Yeah. Almost every successful pornstar I know today has a Premium Snapchat, OnlyFans, their own website, ManyVids (or any clip site), and/or camming account that gives them multiple ways of income rather than just shooting for porn companies. It's not like the old days anymore.

Hey thanks for this thread, I followed twistys on and off over the years.

I believe a lot of their content from before is missing. For example, "peaches" who was one of the most popular and prolific models on the site, (esp pre 2010), , i can't seem to find her anywhere on there.
Same for numerous other models.

Does anyone have any intel on this?
