It seems to me that a male director directing the stud and a female director directing the slut might produce a better porn scene together, than if either the male or the female director directs the whole scene on their own.
Because it's the male director who best understands how the male stud should behave. And it's the female director who best understands how the female porn star should behave in her situation.
I think porn studios should try putting a male and a female film directors together in a team and have them collaborate in the production of a porn scene. It might result in something new and better than what has been done in porn before.

I dunno. It hardly matters. Doesn't the guy just have to pump and pound? And the gal has to say, oh so tight and go "Oh God!"
You might be oversimplifying it all. But I do think that female porn directors are the cat's meow. That's a good thing.
Once upon a time, Wendi Knight directed movies for Zero Tolerance. And Mike Quaser shot them, I think. I doubt Mike yelled much to the males. Or maybe he did. And I remember Jenna Haze directed movies were shot by Van Styles (and others.)

Many sets have two cameras, so each director holds one and says nothing. Their job is pick their shots and let the talent be talented.

In boxing, the coaches of both guys yell to them what to do and how to respond. And such yelling from coaches probably helps the boxers perform better. Because a coach from the sidelines can see the whole situation better, than the boxer can see from close up.
I think it's like this in making a porn scene too. The coaches from the sidelines can see the whole fuck from the point of view of the audience. And this means that they are in a good position to tell the actors how to make it look better for the audience.
Left to their own devices, most porn actors don't do well in terms of making it look good for the audience. Because their experience and their point of view is very different from that of the audience. What looks good to them doesn't necessarily look good to the audience, because the actors have physical sensations that influence and color what they see. While the audience has no such sensations to influence their vision. It's purely visual for the audience.
That's why amateur porn films made without any director often don't look so good to the audience. There wasn't anybody looking at the fuck from the point of view of the audience and telling the actors how to make it look better for the audience.
You really do need a coach looking at it from the point of view of the audience and telling the actors how to act to make it look good for the audience. Coaching from the sidelines during the fuck is what makes the porn scene look professional, even if it's amateurs who are making the scene.

^Micromanaging directors who break the fourth wall during the scene make an entirely different type of porn from what I want to watch. Coaches yelling at talent like they're boxers in a fight is the worst porn I can imagine.

I agree that yelling from sex-coaches should be edited out to make the sex look more natural and spontaneous. Being able to edit sound like this is the advantage of doing it on film instead of in front of a live audience.
This way you can have the benefit of coaching by someone who sees it from the point of view of the audience, and at the same time make it look spontaneous on film.
This is a similar advantage public speakers get, when they read their speech from an electronic device that makes it look like they are speaking spontaneously, instead of reading.

They could each wear a small, nearly undetectable earpiece. I do like the coaching idea.

NFL football coaches now routinely use wireless technology to tell their players what to do during a game. There are obvious advantages in this. Not only does the coach have a better overall view of what's going on. But the coach is also the game expert, who often knows better than the players know about what needs to be done.
Many female porn stars are young and inexperienced. They often are no experts in sex acts they are doing. And they can certainly perform a lot better if a real expert guides them and tells them what to do during the fuck.
Some experienced female porn stars who have retired from performing in porn films can probably work well as sideline sex-coaches for new, young, inexperienced porn stars. This way an 18 or 19-year old porn star might perform with a guy as well as Shyla Stylez or Katsumi, despite her inexperience.
There are obvious advantages in such sideline coaching during the fuck. And the fucking guy can probably improve his performance too as a result of being coached from the sidelines. Because even if he is experienced, his point of view is different from that of the audience, which makes it hard for him to make a good show of it for the audience.

Before I answer your question. I'd like to know why you chose to refer to the female performer as a slut? Was it too hard to just write porn girl? I'm going to go on a stretch and say that calling the women who choose to do porn sluts is not the best way to endear us to them.
Now as to your question. I think having two directors shooting the same scene is an all around bad idea because if each has his or her own idea about how the scene then should be (which they will) then there is bound to be a clash. It's not like having someone giving the director a few suggestion prior to shooting the scene and then the director can decide to add these ideas to the scene. I would think that by nature most reative people don't like to have other people tell them how to do their own craft.
Then there is the even more obvious problem of the studio having to pay two people for one scene. That's not going to happen in this economy.

The word 'slut' has a positive meaning in porn, because this is the kind of women many porn fans want to see perform with the horny guys.
According to the Meriam Webster dictionary, the word slut means a promiscuous woman. Which is exactly what female porn stars are, because they have sex with many sex partners. There is even a list of such pairings, which you can check out at www.iafd.com
Your problem with the word 'slut' I find hard to understand. Because some porn films have this word in their title. And when a porn reviewer calls a porn star a slut, then he means it as an endorsement and admiration of her performance in the scene. It's an honor for a porn star to be called a slut in an adult film review written by a porn fan.
As for having two directors, perhaps you are partly right. It might be better to have two sex-coaches, one telling the guy and the other telling the lady how to fuck and what to do.
Professionally made porn films need to improve their quality, or else they can't compete with all the free amateur porn films posted out there on the internet.

^I'm sorry Dan but you and I will never agree on calling a female porn performer a slut regardless that she refers to herself as one. It's a question of upbringing with me. There are some words that I do not use and that I find offensive when they are used and this happens to be one of them. I have read where some girls use the term to describe themselves and that is their choice but I know I won't and I will never consider them as being one either. Dictionary or not.

I know that almost every word has more than one meaning. And the word 'slut' has a negative meaning too in addition to its positive meaning.
But which meaning of a word becomes more prominent and more important in the English language depends a lot on which meaning gets used the most among the people. And that's why I try to do my part in making the positive meaning of the word 'slut' more prominent and more important in the English language by using this meaning for what I say.
Using the word 'slut' in a positive way is a way of changing what this word means in the English language. It's way of turning its meaning from being negative to being positive.

The word 'bad' can mean good in some circumstances, such as in porn for example. A really good porn movie that excites your lust is bad in terms of public morality, which makes it a good porn movie.
You need to explain what you mean to say, because your meaning isn't clear to me.
Michael Jackson used to sing that he was bad. And of course he meant to say that he was bad in a good kind of way.

^You can play with words and sometime one word will have a different meaning depending in what phrase it is used but I think you'll agree that bad is normally considered to be the opposite of good. In the same token. I consider the word slut to be a bad word to describe a woman who does porn and that won't chnage even if if more people start using it on a regular basis.

I would tend to agree with you. IMO, there is way too much directing going on already. I've seen it literally kill (otherwise good) scenes over the years. A great director, IMHO, knows when to get out of the way of great sex. All too often though, they kill momentum. 2 doing the same thing seems more counter-productive to me. And I don't feel women and men shoot scenes all that differently. When I watch films/scenes generally shot by either sex, I just can't say it flows or moves much differently either.
I would love to see feature films shot more efficently though. Instead of the marathon 18-20 hour, 3 day shoots. Always felt a second unit would help out a lot and maybe they wouldn't drag-on so much. Most directors seem too agotistical to allow someone else to shoot with them though either way.
