I've thought about it, but I have such changable tastes that I can't even commit to a hairstyle that will eventually grow out, let alone a tattoo that'll be with me forever. I guess I'll stay ink-free.

Speaking of ink - is a tattoo better than a scar? Some people get them to cover scars that they feel are unsightly.

On the other hand more and more porn consumers seem to opt against tattoos. At <Shameless Moscow> we get a lot of inquiries about <natural girls>. Also in Kiev they were booked out faster than the tattooed ones. From a business point of view luckily Russian and Ukrainian teens are still a bit more conservative applaying ink on their skin. I expect this soon to develope into a mayor selling argument. But I also expect ink-free Moscow talent to get scarce soon. Our teens copy the West faster and faster.

For the time being, there is no tattoo-less supply problem, however.

Even though I can just about cope with the small out of the way ones, it's the mammoth things they splash all over their stomachs, tits, arms, bellies,, butts, legs and backs that I can't stand. In fact, the tattoo craze is getting sooo bad now that I'm starting to look to the older classic flicks for my porn wants. It's a shame really, because we have some really great looking new girls out there, but they just let themselves down by making themselves look like a bit of human graffiti.

I don't mind much if they're really tiny and somewhere like, as you said, the ankle, or anywhere else where they won't distract from both the action or the girl's beauty. But when they're large and in your face, that's when I switch off. Although, I don't go much on tattoos at the base of the back, because they distract my attention from the girl's butt.

As for the views you have about women with tattoos. They are a bit outdated. They might have applied 20 years ago, but this is what's going on today:

Canada's Toronto Star reported in September of 1997 that when Beth Seaton, professor of mass communications at York University conducted a study of the clientele at one of Toronto's most popular tattoo art studios, she found that 80% of the customers were "upper middle-class white suburban females."
This trend -- the spreading popularity of tattooing among well-educated women in affluent suburban communities -- is one of the most striking aspects of the new attitudes about the art form.

The medical journal Physician Assistant which circulates to doctors' offices throughout the country, has alerted its readers: "Tattoos were most common among motorcyclists, criminals, gang members, and individuals with psychiatric problems...However, these stereotypical associations have changed over the past 20 years...Tattooing in women has quadrupled, and it is estimated that almost half of the tattoos now being done are on women."

The daily Bismarck Tribune of North Dakota in November, 1997, took a closer look at the clientele patronizing tattoo art studios in and around Hazen, a middle-class suburb of Bismarck. Tribune reporter Lauren Donovan reported that the 30-40-year-old age group of "Soccer Moms" is the fastest growing demographic of the local tattoo market. She wrote that four typical clients included "two hockey moms, one figure skating mom and one figure skating coach" who were "women with full lives at home, church and in the community. They couldn't be less like the leather-wearing biker with skeleton tattoos on his chest." One woman wore a small rose tattoo on her shoulder; another had a tiny white baby seal on her ankle.

The national marketing magazine About Women, Inc., in April of 1998, published an article that reported: "Tattooing is on the rise among adult women, including professional women; almost half of all tattoos are being done on women. Professor Myrna L. Armstrong of Texas Tech University School of Nursing told About Women, Inc., that several trends play into this interest in body art...for some young women, tattooing is an outward expression of the internal process of identity building...'a tattoo makes them feel good -- it makes them feel special, different,' says Armstrong."

1) Some people get tattoos to express their independence. I don't see how you express your independence by doing something because everyone else is.

2) I've never seen a woman about whom I've thought, "You know, she'd be damned near perfect if she just had a tattoo. Something like a Klingon battle weapon on her tailbone, or maybe a snake slithering across both breasts. Yeah, that's what she needs to be really hot!"

I can tolerate tattoos. I'd be crazy to kick Monica Sweetheart or Serena South out of my bed because they had tattoos -- oh how I wish I had that opportunity!

I've been with a few escorts who had tattoos, and the experience wasn't diminished by their presence, and probably wouldn't have been any better with them gone. But, all in all, it's my fantasy, whether visual or physical, and my preference is for both to be tattoo-free,

My favorite gal August has "The Best" and one of "The Worst" tattoos.

The best tattoo in the Biz is her tribal tat just above her ass. That tattoo is classy and cool, and I don't even like tattoos. Once you see that tattoo, you go "WOW...that's a cool tattoo"!

The worst, is her floral tattoo under/on her left arm. That tattoo is just to much, nothing sexy about that one.

What I do know, however, is that you speak for "most guys" as much as I do whenever I write down my opinions on something in this (or any other) forum.

As for covering them up on the boxcovers, I agree with you that it's duplicitious and would prefer that it didn't happen. But let's face it, they do it for a smart reason, as a pic of an un-tattooed hot chick is going to appeal to people who dont like tatts, and a lack of tattoos isn't going to stop a tattoo-likin'guy from buying a DVD either.

The same happens regularly with girls on the boxcovers who have small breasts. You'll see them in the butt-in-shot, looking-over-their-shoulder angle with their chests "conveniently" out of the shot...
