Hi to anyone reading this!

Has anyone based in the UK/ordering from Orgazmik in Switzerland had their packages checked by UK Customs?

I have recently placed an order from Orgazmik (very efficient email contact through Peter there) and with Switzerland not being in the EU I was just wondering if anyone else has had to pay additional taxes etc. I've read(in the International shopping guide)that Orgazmik send 'very discreet' packages so I'm not sure whether this will have any bearing on my question or not (especially with regards to outer labels/enclosed invoices).

If anyone has any info - great. If not I'll just have to wait and see! Thanks for any replies.

They usually send their stuff to countries who are inside the EU from Austria, not Switzerland. They have a warehouse there. I've bought several times from them and never had any problems with customs or taxes.

Hi,

I have ordered many times from Orgazmik and never once had any problems with delivery. They ship just the dvd's and covers protected by thin card, so they just look like normal letters.

Received order from Orgazmik today. No problems at all. In fact I'd recommend them to anyone seeking DVDs from what I think is a truly professional outfit. Excellent email contact, fairly swift delivery in a very, very subtle packaging. Then again, the Swiss certainly do excel in other areas too, don't they?

Apart from the possible exceptions of cuckoo clocks, chocolate, and mail order porn, I can't think of any.

In addition, almost everyone smokes and is free to do so in buses, trams, hotels, restaurants, bars etc. And the Swiss life-style is one of the most joyless on earth. Have you been there recently, apa?

Try the obvious for starters. Banking and making watches.

PS. They're also very good at keeping their streets clean!

PPS. I also hear that they're extremely good at pharmaceutical research/biotechnology, administration/social provision (eg. education), and I've also heard about people who are able to go there and die with dignity rather than suffer a humiliating/agonising death through terminal illness - but I fear I'm veering off the point of the original post now!
