I have been led to believe that international mail is being subjected to greater scrutiny than usual. This will probably slow things down. It may also mean that more packages are being seized than previous. Lastly, remember that Blunkett's memo goes live today meaning the importation of titles that contravene the R18 rules (and/or the obscene publications act) becomes a serious, arrestable criminal offence. I'm just advising caution for fellow forumites until we find where HMC&E and the Home Office stand on imported porn. |

They are a normal part of many straight or gay relationships. Sorry to go off on one here, but this kind of narrow mindeness among the very constituency who should be standing up against such attitudes and such lazy thinking really annoys me! Why should the British govenment have the right to seize material that is perfectly legal in other European countries? What is so very different from them to us? Are they totally degenerate, and we are totally moral and upstanding because of it? |
