maybe they're trying to sell both versions : some people who are tired of waiting for the Euro version might buy the US version and won't resist buying the Euro version when it's released later ;) Anyway, they bragged so much about this Euro version... the delay and the lack of communication about it looks very unprofessional. :(
sorry bill,can't agree. i'm here in germany,and at my local xxx rental shop,the only available version is the us cut. same result via google search- no ! online shop offers the "european cut".
Sorry I did'nt react sooner, I did'nt know this thread exsisted. Any how, The NarcASSist - Uncut version was sold all over Europe. The only Three countries that bought the short versions were England, Australia and Canada. The rest bought the Uncut Version. Talking to them during the Berlin Show I kinda understood that they have so many titles to release that they have bought previously that The NarcASSist and many other titles including Stinkers and Twisted 2 are awaiting for release date. I wish I can make them release it faster, but after they bought and paid for them, the titles belong to them and they have the complete right to re-title or re-edit or repackage it to max their sales.
in other words you're saying that the European distrubitors are going to release the Un-cut version of this film when they feel like? so we have to wait around until then?
No, I said that I can't tell them when to release it or how to release it since they own the rights to the movie. I wish they will release it soon, I urged them to release it soon, but I have no control. I can control my releases and I usually release a movie three weeks after it been shot. We don't believe in banking scenes because they considered old after a while. For example: Our "friends" at Mayhem just released a movie with Katin which they claimed she is brand new girl. We shot eleven month ago Katin in her first time anal in the movie Tap That Ass. That is my belief, other companies believe in collecting movies and releasing them a year after the movie had been shot. I guess what ever works...
Given what Oren said, it appears that we will need to look for this under something other than the "Anarchy" label. I'm guessing that even the title may be different. It would be nice to know what companies bought the rights in the different countries. That would make looking for the uncut version a lot easier.
There's nothing in these DVD's to cause customs to confiscate these discs, even if they reviewed them.
The only things that would cause customs to (legally) confiscate a DVD would be if they had child porn or bestiality on them. The NarcASSist (even the Euro version) has neither of those.
yes, I understand that. my statement was made for the point of fact that we haven't seen them yet. still waiting to find them out there somewhere, and now we get word that the Euro version of the movie may be called something different. this could be a very huge movie or a complete dud depending on how you look at it. I'm hoping for the former.
