The QC department did not know they had an edited master as an orginal source material. We relied solely on the "integrity" of the video company to provide us with the best master available. We were outraged to learn that the VHS company had did this! For those of you who do not know, it costs many thousands of dollars to create this program on DVD. If we are penalized for this innocent mistake -- we will never be able to fix the problem. Cut us some slack while we investigate this mistake and beleive us when we say, i_Candy will continue to be one of the few companies that understands how this medium works! I can understand it to a degree. icandy can complain all they want about the video company, but to get mad at the consumer for complaining is absurd. We are the one they are catering too. We put out the money just like they did for the master copy of Up n coming. I can over look any mistake as long as people are big enough to admit it. But to ask us to not really complain about it is unacceptable. And I for one am not telling anyone not to buy it. Just if your looking for that one scene Beware. And I hope this doesn't put a dent in Icandy release schedule. They do a great job with the trasfers of both discs so far. There extras could be better, but 90% of Adult dvd's could be too. Icandy is still one of the best suppliers of Classic Adult DVD. I hope you can come to an agreement with the video company to correct this other wise fine disc. Icandy has to understand the consumers disappointment in not getting an unedited version even if its not their fault. Gojira54 [Link] |
