With All Worlds jumping into the DVD market and "Final Link" on the list of soon to be released titles. what do you guys think are the chances that the DVD will include any of the content cut from th "retail" version of the film?.
I feel somewhat deceived. I recently purchased the VHS (ordered it prior to the news that it was coming to DVD) after reading every on-line review of the film I could find.. all the reviews mentioned footage cut from the standerd release (namely a scene envolving urination).. All the review copies of Final Link must have been the unedited mail-order only version and no review I read mentioned this. so I was rather pissed off (no pun intended) to find out the pissing from the pissing scene wasn't there.(making what was left of the scene pointless). the rest of the film was INCREDABLY hot.. But i'de rather have the full version.. with the peepee and the heavy butt play to boot.
I can't return my "Vanilla" version. but figure I can put it on eBay .. get half what I paid and take at as a lesson to rent before I buy. .. But this makes me believe the DVD will be the edited version as well. since DVDs are pressed in bulk its less likely there will be 2 versions. on the other hand the the really hardcore stuff is a big selling point for these movies .
So what do ypu think.. Will All Worlds includ the butt play/pissing and risk losing a few markets or will theyb take the safe road and give us a slightly less-hardcore DVD?
(does straight porn have these problems?)

Yup these problems exist in the Straight porn.
Vivid has been known to cut scenes for no apparent reason.

Your fears are well founded!
While I don't know about that specific release, it's a good bet that most videos will be released in a vanilla version only when they're pressed to DVD. It sucks! (And not in a good way...)
Many studios delete all watersports and fisting action from any movie before selling it at regular retail outlets, either online or storefront.
In part, this is to encourage their own direct mail-order business. But there's a larger concern. These scenes are much more likely to get the studio in legal trouble if they're sold in certain states or countries. Mail order gives them greater control over where the movies are sold, so they can protect their own asses.
Sadly, with the economics of DVD so far, no studio is likely to press two versions of the same disc--so the edition we get HAS to be the one that can be safely sold in all adult retail outlets...
Not much we can do about it--other than to let them know we don't like it, and would prefer out DVDs to feature as complete a version as possible.
