And that's the case for all releases here in Germany which are licensed from US Companies. The video quality is bad, no extra footage and often the sound is dubbed (not only the dialogues but also during the sex scenes). I don't know if the German porn consumer want it this way. I can only speak for myself and I HATE IT!!! So I always buy the original.
Besides that in German videos you have lots of fisting and pissing, which isn't my taste and the girls are mostly not good looking (except when they are form Eastern Europe). So IMHO the German porn scene in comparison to the US porn scene is as bad as the German film in comparison to Hollywood.
To the torture theme: I think that this is only an advertising strategy because they think with it the video sells better. But I don't know if this is really the case. I for myself prefer it when the girls like what they're doing.
