Can somebody tell me about us titles with euro versions?
we can make a list just to know about it

And another question...
in creampie.com site there is a list with a lot of creampie titles, and there i have seen a movie named "cum slut" (there are 4 volumes of it), and it says in the description that is a euro gang bang creampie movie with nici sterling, anybody knows where in the net can i buy these movies?

thanks

A can of worms. Especially the legal and commercial wranglings.

But I'd love to see a site dedicated to explaining the minefield of different versions/distributors/covers etc.

That can be explained pretty simple: A publishers goal is to make the most money out of any production. He therefore sells movie licenses to other companies all over the planet. Depending on the license, these companies may even edit a movie, print their own DVDs and release them under whatever name they like, of course may also put an own cover.

Luckily some publishers have found out that this is not a very good idea to see their product around in the shelfes in 10 different shapes. After all, if a movie is worth the money and worth to talk about, it should be obvious for a publisher to make sure customers get the same all over the planet.

Usually customers are not very happy to accidentaly buy the same movie twice. Unfortunately there are still tons of titles around where you cannot identify if it's equal to another or not.

Thanks for the info - handy for people who're not familiar with this problem. The "why" can be explained, as you have, but it'd be nice to see a definitive explanation for the "what" has been done! E.g. which Evil Angel movie corresponds to which Shiva or Night Trips version, and how the UK R18 versions differ (although the BBFC lists some of this). And which Hustler films are cut in which scenes because of pissing etc.

Anyone who browses EroDVD will see familiar-ish titles and covers on unfamiliar studio labels. Matching them up is the hassle. Seems this practice may be stopping though, as people like EA take stronger control of non-US licensing.
