| lex von v Senior Member 2511 Posts 12/12 |  Posted - Sep 19 2013 : 6:03PMIf I type a text and enter the correct apostrophe (U+2019) instead of the not-so-correct one (', U+0027), I get the following: ’ Same is valid for correct double quotes, „ “ â€, single guillemets ‹ ›, and dashes: – — And, I guess also for text with characters outside the latin-1 area: łąṣİ It seems there is an UTF-convert too much (or missing) when the data is stored in the database... Or when the text is displayed again. Is there something that can be done? [Link] |
