| leapoffaith Member 16 Posts 4/07 | Hello, having difficulty watching anything on u-tube or similar streaming vids, most anywhere on the net that is greater than 20 or 30 sec....I have a cable connection and plenty of bandwidth...also, I have tried during off hours on the net; like when I come home from work after a 3rd shift..this site/forum has helped me in the past when no other forums could...hoping for a repeat preformance...either way, thanks! Flash player gets updated fairly regularly, and if you're having problems with videos, sometimes you can fix it by updating to the latest version of Flash player. Go to a Youtube video. Right-click on the video and you should get a menu choice that says something like "About Flash Player" (or similar). Click on that. When I do it (I also use Win XP) it takes me to the Adobe home page and tells me which version of Flash I'm using, what's the latest, etc. From there you should be able to update to the latest and greatest. Try that first. |
