Who are you to make any kind of judgment on how intelligent she is? Is it because you can cherry pick parts of her statements out of context? If that's the long and short of your argument then all you're really doing is throwing stones from a glass house, because there's no way you haven't said things that can be perceived similarly and I doubt you'd agree with someone judging your intelligence based on that alone. It's pretty disturbing if her thoughts that really don't concern or involve you at all "really annoy you/really makes you sad".

First of all it concerns me and the whole society if children are exposed to pornografy or not. But that's not the point. If you feel I have been too superficial maybe I can be more specific. I didn't want to bore you to death but here we go. She clearly didn't understand the postmodern concept of "weak thought" (7.50) when she refuses it and advocates a "strong rationalist thought" against religion. How can it be strong if it denies any ground that might bound you to a predetermined truth? It's weak becouse of its limited and temporary nature, not becouse it lacks strenght. But since it's become pop and trendy to talk about it, she uses the term "pensiero debole" without knowing where it comes from (Vattimo and his Nietzsche studies) and by saying that rationalism should be "strong" she is claming a rationalism that works exactly as the religion she does not approve. She clearly confused the technical use of a common term with the common meaning of it. Using big empty words just to show off she ends up contradicting herself. And people in the end applaude... and you are mad at me.
