We've been discussing this one pretty much continuously, for the years I've been in this forum. The best, (and most mature), one was probably HERE.

I absolutely worship the Sara Jays, Olivia O'Lovelys and Flower Tuccis of the world, but those girls have a definite look and body type that is outside the norm of what generates the most appeal for the most people. When porn agents, producers and directors tell a girl that she needs to "change her appearance", (i.e., lose weight), to make her more marketable and to get more work, the girls are gonna listen. There is too much evidence of this phenomenon for it not to be true. Friday, Gia Paloma, Isobel Ice, Mia Bangg and others are all girls whose voluptuousness was striking when they first entered the porn biz, but who radically changed their looks in order to get more work and further their career. My very favorite newcomer this year has been the dazzling Georgia X , and I am thrilled by the performances by her that I've seen so far, but I knew it was just a matter of time before she got the message either directly or indirectly that she was gonna hafta make some changes in order to get more work and advance her career. And as much as I love her the way I've seen her, I can't really begrudge her doin' what she has to. If a bonafide, first level, mega star like Katja Kassin , who always gives outstanding performances, is subject to these same kinds of pressures, or has to endure these same indignities of getting sent home from a shoot, or not being considered for a part, because some porn producer thinks she is "too fat", then some new, porn girl has no chance against that kind of pressure.

I thought that Sammie, on the other hand, had a perfect body when she started in the business. She quickly became my favorite current performer. I think that her weight loss has hurt her appearance in every way. Considering that Sammie has never done an anal scene, that reason is out as a reason for her weight loss.
