I agree about variety, but I think variety can still be achieved within a certain genre.

And a lesbian only scene in a supposedly heterosexual film I've had to fast-forward through more than once. I've also had to fastforward through films where every scene showed almost exactly the same kind of action. Variety is the spice of life. And more variety is often better. But it seems to me that not every kind of variety works well in porn. Perhaps exclusive kind of variety that switches back and forth between various porn genres doesn't work well. Because porn fans usualy have a preference for one or two porn genres. And if the film deviates from their main interest in porn, then they are naturally disappointed. But inclusive kind of variety that adds on top of the main porn genre that the viewer is interested in is the kind of variety that does work well. Because the viewer gets to see what he likes to see. And he gets to see it in suprising, imaginative, and entertaining ways. If a guy likes to see anal sex. Then he probably would enjoy it even more to see some vaginal for the girl in a good DP. And he probably would appreciate some lesbian action too as long as the guys continue going anal on one or both girls. Any kind of variety that adds on top of the guy's main interest (which is anal sex) makes it more interesting and enjoyable for him. But if the girls stops having anal sex and the scene turns vaginal or lesbian. Then of course this part of the scene will probably disappoint the guy who likes to see anal sex. I think that variety works well only if the film has a constant and unchanging theme which caters to the viewer's main interest in porn. If it's a lesbian film. Then all other non-lesbian sex acts should be done in addition to lesbian sex and not instead of it. If it's an oral film. Then the lady should have her mouth full of cock throughout the scene, in addition to all other sex acts. And if it's an anal film.
