In their Yahoo group VCX has stated that they are finished with the DVD-R's and that they are looking into redoing some of the flawed editions they've put out in the past. Including releasing Little Girls Blue - Part 1 and Little Girls Blue - Part 2 as the original seperate films instead of the hack job that is called Girls in Blue - Parts 1 & 2. I hope that they end up following up with the promises they are making. [Link] |

I'm glad they are turning things around since they have the best library of classic films out there. [Link] |

I've been perfectly happy with the quality of Bad Girls , F and Reflections , for example. It's a shame they ever bothered with DVD-R's though. I can't see it being economically viable to release pressed editions of these movies now, so we're likely to be stuck with temperamental, semi-professional releases of some genuine classics. Over the last year their quality seems to be improving. The stupid problems that plagued their old releases appeared to have died down/gone away. [Link] |
