When I first saw her b/g work (a scene with Sean Michaels for MOFO's World Wide), I didn't believe that anyone could be that intense in a scene for real, and said so. There aren't words enough to describe how far off base I was with that comment. I love you all but I have to take a break for a bit, I know there's nice things said here but any type of hunt that I'm flawed or inadequate in some way seems to just scream at me and echo around in my head. So I will be back maybe later but I'm not going to poke my head in for a while I need to love myself and accept who I am and all the circumstances that surround me whether it be not being able to afford new clothes every time I shoot or buying a pair of boobs to fix the old ugly ones or my crooked tooth. Let's break this down... $20,000 for the surgery itself (because things ALWAYS cost more than estimated) $50,000 for time away from work (wild ass guess for the sake of argument) $10,000 for contingencies That's $80K roughly speaking. What about doing a Kickstarter campaign to pay for it? I'm guessing that Veronica has THOUSANDS of devoted fans. If we all kick in a few bucks, we can do this. If someone can use Kickstarter to successfully fund a new comic book, for goodness sake, we certainly ought to be able to raise enough money to help maintain what I'm sure we all agree is a national treasure. Performers like Veronica Avluv don't come around often. In fact, I can't really think of anyone with whom to compare her. I've been watching porn for more than 40 years and I can't think of ANY other performer who has matched her on-screen energy and commitment to the scene. I have no idea how to start a kickstarter campaign, but my understanding is that the system is designed to be simple and easy to use. But if Veronica says that Cali docs want 18K... Those "$50,000 for time away from work" are ridiculous, you dont have to spend them, it's just money you are not getting. So the full expenses will never be 80K. And with an average living for some weeks (no sauna/expensive dresses/iphone/etc, just spending for basic needs), if you have saved something (like the aforementioned 24K), you can come back without big problems. Plus don't forget most of us guys who are after all the overwhelming majority of porn consumers are not as into clothes as women are. Sure a nice outfit is good, but it isn't going to be on for long & the majority of the scene is going to be nudity-so really we are not going to be that worried & neither will the male performers be either-they will be naked quick as well. I have to say that I could not see any flaws in any of those pictures. Every single photo was top class. The thread was started by Rombur on Christmas Eve in 2010 (What a Christmas present for those that year. Wow). That wss just over three years ago.
