I've heard that one of the reasons for not releasing VHS and DVDs togehter is avoid flooding the market. Is this true and does it make sense? A good example of this is Juli Ashton's own movies under her Ashton View Promotions thru Wicked. She is trying to get dvd's but currently can't for the reasons above and so there is no release date for a dvd in the foreseeable future. [Link] |

All of Rocco Siffredi and Christoph Clark tapes which come out from now on will be released on DVD either day and date or within one month of VHS release date if there is a scheduling problem. All John Leslie new tapes will come out within 6 weeks of VHS street date. Most of John Stagliano/Buttman tapes will be day and date or one month later. Joey Silvera tapes will vary, depending on the series and the title. I too pretty much only use my VCRs for taping, and if I didn't work at Evil Angel,I would probably plan on getting rid of my VCR altogether once DVD-recording off of TV becomes a good option.
