A friend of mine told me today that he has found a Viagra connection that sells him pills for 12 bucks a pop. He said that they are AMAZING and he can keep his dick hard for hours, and get it right back up after he cums. He said he has never had such full erections as he has on Viagra and that the couple of girls he's fucked on it have commented how amazing he is. I asked another friend at a Super Bowl party and he says that someone at his work sells bottles of 60 for 500 bucks and everyone that takes them speaks very highly of them. We are all in our 20's but apperently Viagra isn't just being takin by old men who truly can't get it up. So obviously i'm interested now. I would like to know anything about Viagra that ya'll might know. I would like to experiment to see what all the hype is about.

Also someone here talked about an article online at LAtimes.com that was about the use of Viagra among porn stars. I went to Latimes.com and couldn't find the article. So if anyone can tell me where to find it that would be great. Also if anyone read it and they could paraphrase what the article said that would be cool. Thanks.

Caneboy,
The article was from last year, and basically talked about Tyce Bune, and how taking it has helped him perform as much as he has, as well as other people in porn. It's not just for old men, but you should be careful. A director said that he noticed Tyce's tongue was starting to harden, sticking out of his mouth, lol.
But if you think Viagra sounds good, wait until the 'new' Viagra hits the shelves. One pill lasts all weekend, and works within 15 minutes. I'm frightened.

ROFL!!! A premature ejaculator could compete with the sybian as far as I'm concerned, and at least I can switch it off. But does anyone other than porn performers really need drugs that potent? I don't think they thought this through!

Pharmacologically, if you don't have ED, Viagra should not do anything at all for you. The effect may due to placebo effect (you get the effect beacuse you've been to conditioned to, aka mind over matter)

The pathway to penis erection is such:

First, acetylcholine, alpha 1 and 2 receptors, or sheer stress on the endothlial cells are activated and are coupled to an enzyme known as phospholipase C. Phospholipase C becomes active in converting arginine to citruline and this process releases the most important product for penile erection, NO (nitric oxide) gas, also known as endothelium derived relaxing factor (EDRF). NO will diffuse locally and stimulate another enzyme known as guanylate cyclase in vascular smooth muscle (penile blood vessels). Guanylate cyclase converts guanine monophosphate to cyclic guanine monophosphate (cGMP). cGMP functions a cellular 2nd messanger that activates protein kinases and lower intracellular concentrations of calcium ions (Ca++). It is this decrease in intracellular Ca that allows for relaxation of smooth muscle and an increase in blood flow, resulting in erection.

The pathway is then terminated by an enzyme known as phosphodiesterase 5 (V). And this is where Viagra acts, Viagra is a PDE V inhibitor. Men with ED do not get enouch cGMP built up to cause an erection, the idea is then, that if you inhibit the pathway that breaks it down, you get a buildup of cGMP, enough to cause an erection. Thus, for a normal man, he has enough cGMP around to facilitate erection, and blocking the action of PDE V will not have any effect.

Sorry about how wordy that was, just had the learn the mechanism of Viagra in class last week.

very impressive not that i attempted reading it. All I know is that my buddies that have tried it love it and enough people that don't have ED but love its results have created a huge black market for the stuff. I haven't tried it so I can't be sure but my guess is that you can take all that science crap and throw it out the window because the stuff apperently is working for everybody not just those with ED.

Thanks saki. I'd been looking for that article. I guess those actors don't know about the chemistry that Khristich explained. I guess they are just getting hard from the placebo effect (note: sarcasm).

You asked what people knew about Viagra. I happen to have just learned the pharmacology of it, just thought I'd share. I didn't mean that Viagra will absolutely not work for someone who doesn't have ED, it's just that pharmacology states that it shouldn't. And of course, some of it must be due to the placebo effect.

Khristich,
i'm just messing around. Thanks for the info and if I was smart enough to understand it I'm sure it would have been informative. It just made my head hurt just trying to read that. You are very smart to comprehend that shit.

No hard feelings (no pun intended), I understand what you meant. I was just being a little too showy for my own good, I just learned something this past week, and saw an oppourtunity to share. Peace.

Viagra does work for someone without ED. I've tried Viagra once. I don't think I'll ever use it again.

I picked up a few pills when I was down in Mexico a couple of years back. You can buy them over the counter there. I went for the strongest ones they had, I think they were 100mg. My dick got hard as it normally does. It wasn't exceptionally stiff, just a regular full-on stiffy. We had sex for a long time, I think it was like 90 minutes straight. We were both physically exhausted and I was no where near the point of ejaculation. I sure felt like I could have came a half dozen times but the glandular chain of events just wouldn't get rolling.

I eventually did after about 10 minutes of tendonitis-inducing bishop beating. Ten minutes later I had a migraine. It was the nastiest headache I ever had in my life. It felt like a marble was being pumped through the veins in my head. I knew one of the potential side-effects was headache but I had no idea it would have been so painful.

I won't touch the stuff again. Besides, most women would rather have you be really good at going down on them for ten minutes than fucking them senseless for over an hour.

From Drew Black:
Amen brother! I think that is an important point to make. Most womyn, myself included are not interested in fucking for hours on end, it get's sore!

It's awful that many men seem to be obsessed with how long they can pound away and don't really need to be.

Well most woman, yourself included, I'm not interested in fucking for hours on end! But for those that I am, I could use a little help. My girlfriend has a bigger sex drive then me. After I cum I CAN'T get it up for a LONG time. And she still would like to fuck. And even when I get it back up its not as hard as I would like it. So I'm gonna get some Viagra and give her more of what she wants.
