i know bigjim mentioned that he has one of these 4 pack dvd movies from videoage. anyone else have one? what is the quality like? chapter selection? menus? There's a decent looking Jenna 4 for 1 there that i'm interested in.

I received a few of these the other day, two Jenna's and one Ona Zee/Kaitlyn Ashley. There is a disclaimer at the beginning stating that the movies have been edited to fit the DVD's. I'm not sure exactly what is missing, but it looks as though most of them have been cut by at least 20 minutes. Silver Screen Confidential, which is one of the movies I was most looking forward to, is cut by 30 minutes. I just finished sending them a complaint regarding this. I have quite a few of their VHS 4-Packs (mostly Jenna), and am curious to know if these were edited as well, despite their claims that the movies are all complete and uncut. For the record, I also have their first Jenna DVD 4-pack, and it does not have the disclaimer. I need to check it again, though, to see if the running times are correct.

This may not be the appropriate forum to discuss this, but I thought I'd chime in and say that I avoid VideoAge like the plague. Partly that's because they have a more-is-better-even-though-it's-low-quality mentality, and partly it's because they have a horrifically clumsy website with anoying advertising tactics.

If you're looking for 4 in 1 porn though, I guess they are the place to get it. I stay away, myself. To be fair, I haven't visited them in a long time... so maybe they've gotten better.

I bought several of their DVDs and for the most part it was flushing money down the toilet. A couple of them look worse than VCD quality. One looked fairly nice, but it seems to be a little too hit or miss for me.

The sunshine comp's are much the same. 4 hours of pixelated old low quality gonzo.

erodvd are stopping stocking many of them...

I have a few of these, all I can say is that they're cheap. Many of them look like they were taken straight off of VHS tapes, and some have very obvious edit points where they cut out parts for time Strangely, these also have uncompressed PCM soundtracks.
One disc I really wanted, with 2 John Holmes movies and 2 Best of Seka volumes, has video noise on the bottom of the screen, like they forgot to adjust the tracking! The sound on the John Holmes movies only comes out of the left channel and has a constant buzzing as well! Sadly nobody else puts these titles out that I know of, I'd love to see these unedited from the original masters or at least something that looks better than this! They have another classic movie 4-pack out now with "Taxi Girls" but I think I'll pass on it this time.
On all of these, the time counter is disabled but they all seem to run about 1 hour, though none of the ones I have show any notes about them being edited. They should give up on these until they can at least get them out uncut.
