It's a studio that you can rent to tape yourselves having sex. Looks like it's about $475, and an extra $350 if you want a camera operator to be present. They have your choice of a dungeon room, a barn, a doctor's office, and a gothic bedroom. They come with props and costumes, and they plan to add more themed rooms. This facility in Beverly Hills is the only one that I know of, so far. I've seen a few similar operations come and go. I think the biggest problems are: 1) Video cameras are cheap. For what they're charging you could buy your own. 2) After you shot the footage, you really have to edit it to get something watchable. Editing is laborious if you do it yourself, and expensive if you have someone else do it. By contrast, professional photo equipment is still expensive, and you can enjoy photos in their "raw" form. Before shooting M&J, my wife and I shot several "real couples" as studies to work out coverage and editing issues. These were produced at no cost (or payment) to the subjects, and with no model release. I also offered to return all materials after I was done editing (with no release, the materials have no value to me.) Some of these shoots were quite a bit hotter than M&J, with fisting, anal sex, ATM, etc; all made that much hotter because there was no doubt that the people doing it were doing it soley for their own pleasure and the pleasure of being able to see a proffesionally filmed version of it. A few of them are swingers, and they bring their tapes to parties as an introduction. Others were just couples that wanted to preserve proof that once upon a time, they were young and hot . -T.C. I've done this several times with my wife and the results - while obviously not up to the professional standards of Evil Angel et al - have still been very watchable. [Link] |
