When coming onto the Forum I always pick 'Active Topics'.

Initially, this seemed to work ok. However, for several weeks now, it never seems to be updated. Even today, my last visit is shown as 22 June (and hence I get all the messages for the last 2 weeks) whereas, I have been on most days since then. At first I thought it would only update if I properly logged in and out each session but I have followed this pratice for a few days and it doesn't make any difference.

Any ideas what am I doing wrong ?

You may have a "cookie" problem. Go delete any Adultdvdtalk cookies you may have. Then come back. You will see everything is new to you the first time you come back. But things should be ok in subsequent visits.

I'm seem to be having a cookie problem as well. I deleted all my ADT cookies - which reset everything - however, the problem persists: the only way I can clear the list is by deleting cookies manually. Somehow my ADT cookies are not updating properly.

I've noticed that the "you last visited" date isn't always very reliable. Sometimes it really is the last time, and sometimes not, meaning I get more "new" topics than I want.

I never actively logout as such, but my visits are sometimes more than 24hrs apart. When is each cookies set to expire, based on when it is issued?

And I sometimes get the page asking me to "click to enter forums" and sometimes not. The link I have bookmarked is https://www.adultdvdtalk.com/forum/

Thanks Bill, clearing out the cookies seems to have solved the problem. If it lapses again, and so long as I don't have to do it too often I can live with it.

Curiously this solution seems not to have worked for others then. I am sure Drew's further investigation will be appreciated. Thanks.
