Yeah it's called proactive capitalism. You stop production of what you don't like by reducing or negating the market for it. Some people don't buy what they don't like, but when it comes to porn many more than you think will settle on what they can get and buy it anyway. What people like me and MERPER are saying is that you shouldn't even do that. Yes there are G/G fans out there, but it's a niche market. If B/G fans, the majority of porn consumers by far, stopped settling for G/G and simply withheld those dollars from the market it would influence the market significantly. Porn producers would no longer see as much value in a product and stop putting as much money into it. This translate into stopping/reducing production of that kind of material and/or reducing how much they pay girls for those kinds of scenes. There are legit G/G fans so the market would never go away obviously, but it would be affected. So yes, I read what he posted. And no one's making anyone do anything they don't want to do. Anyone can always go get a real job if they don't want to shoot porn. No one's blackmailing them or holding a gun to their head, so stop being a child about it. We're just telling people to stop supporting a market you don't like because money influences a lot of decisions. I'm a fan of Viola, but I have no interest in seeing her do G/G porn and I'm barely interested in seeing her do scenes with Ray Boss. I'm sure he's a cool guy, but he's not that great of a performer. So as a porn consumer I believe it's totally within my rights to have my dollar influence what kind of porn gets made. I have that right. You have that right. We all have that right. Performers have the option to shoot what we want to see, or not. If girls don't want to take dick on camera then I totally respect that decision. However I won't, and I advise no one else to, support a niche market they don't enjoy simply so some girl who won't do what they want can continue to make bank. Suggesting that we should is just foolish. If you'd climb down off your white knight horse long enough to realize what we're trying to say here you'd realize we're right.
^If G/G was as niche as you suggest, she wouldn't be able to survive doing it and would already be doing B/G. B/G fans don't "settle" for G/G, they simply avoid it altogether. There are more than enough G/G fans to support a (good) performer. And this is on top of the fact that they get paid significantly less than for doing B/G. And no you don't respect her decision not to take dick on camera if you are actively campaigning others to coordinate an effort to stop purchasing her scenes, rather than simply not supporting those scenes yourself. You are in essence trying to do everything in your power legally to make someone do something they don't want to do. Proactive Capitalism is just a fancy term for it. Banks do predatory lending, but I guess it's okay since it's legal, no matter how harmful it is.
^^ Do you know what I expect is a very tiny number of porn fans? People who buy porn they don't enjoy so a performer can, in your words, make bank. I have no problem with the economic argument you are making. But, lesbian porn and other categories exist because there is a market for such content. I would have loved to see Erica Campbell or Veronica Zemanova in a boy/girl scene. The later did attempt one, yet, she fled the scene soon after it began. Others, like Yurizan Beltran, kept many of us waiting until she decided to do boy/girl scenes. Was it a deliberate strategy on her part to wait a few years before she did boy/girl scenes? All I know is that when she finally announced she was going to do boy/girl scenes it was like Christmas morning, discovering all the new toys under the tree. Why not let each performer determine their own career path, rather than constantly nagging them to do something they don't want to do? For example, "I'd like her better if she did anal" or "I'd like her better if she did boy/girl scenes". So, what's a poor girl to do, if after the breast enhancement surgery and the anal scenes don't boost her career? She goes back to work at Wal-Mart. Good things come to those who wait. There are many variables in play that we will never know. I am as surprised as you are to hear that this new scene was just shot and that it isn't an old one he just now decided to release. With that said, there's 100 different scenarios or reasons that Viola decided not to do b/g in the US but was willing to do it again just recently back in Europe. Could be anything from money to her male partner to various other things. Pointless to speculate or lose sleep over. She is shooting again, at least a bit, meaning we get new Viola scenes and that's all we should care about and be happy with.
