1)-Devon- The best of the series, Devon is just so hot!
2)-Jenna Jameson- It may be the first of the series, and it may be short on features, and it is also a little on the short side, but we get to se a young Jenna deliver a superior performance.
3)-Julia Ann- Not bad
4)-Jill Kelly- Jill is one of my favorite pornstars of all time, and I can barely recommend the disc.
5)-Nikki Tyler- It is a little short, but a nice performance and one of the only anal scenes in the series
6)-Taylor Hayes- Very so so
7)-Chloe Jones- Maybe it is not such a good idea for your very first adult performance to be a VR sex one. Chole looks horrible and sounds horrible as she over acts her way through this disc.

I also think the Tera Patrick one is boring, but I see so many people say great things about it. That's gotta be my least favorite one.

On the other hand, I had great anticipation for Jill Kelly & Teri Weigel, but those were a bit disappointing.

I have the older CD-ROMs, and I've been surprised that they haven't been reissued on DVD. The video is already shot, so why not make a few bucks with a quick transfer? The three which have not been reissued (Rocki Roads, Asia Carrera, Farrah) are all good, and Rocki & Asia would easily sell. I know the clips are shorter than the current titles, but that hasn't hurt sales of the Jenna & Nikki releases.

Above Average

I'd put Wicked's Perfect Stormy at the top of the list. I was really impressed with how they took things to the next level and think that it might be the best virtual sex debut I've seen from a company.

Groupie Love gave it a nice go, but I don't think it worked nearly as well (and I was really peeved when I could barely get any of the second DVD to work on any of my three DVD players). It's ambition earned it a place in the above average listing, and shows enough potential that I think whatever Digital Sin does to follow it up will definitely be worth a look!

Digital Playground's Virtual Sex with... titles have been amazingly consistent (I'm thinking I'll be putting up reviews of all of the ones I haven't reviewed yet in a week or two), but the consistency also turned into a problem for them because from the time they added the strip tease and the stories, I've seen absolutely no difference in the titles other than the girl in them. Although it wasn't bad, I was very disappointed with Virtual Sex With Briana Banks because there was nothing to it that felt like Digital Playground put any more work into it than they did with one of their virtual releases from two or three years before. Virtual Sex titles have a lot of room to grow, and when I put in a current virtual sex release I want to feel like the company is trying to see how they can make it work better each time rather than feeling like I was watching a three year old virtual sex title.

Thankfully, the My Plaything series feels like they're trying to do that. Although I'm not a big Gauge fan, I was blown away by My Plaything: Gauge , and for the time of its release, I think it still might be the best virtual sex title that's been released. It's probably a toss up between it and one of the My Plaything: Jenna Jameson titles.

The Mediocre

Smash's My PlayToy series is hit or miss, but gives you two girls rather than one in each release. My PlayToy and My PlayToy 3 were quite impressive, but My PlayToy 2 left plenty to be desired IIRC. Smash is another company that seems to be trying to see how to improve the virtual sex genre, and you can see them trying to improve things from release to release (even if it doesn't always work). If not for My PlayToy 2 , Smash would definitely be in the above average list.

VCA's FantaSex titles have been okay. I hav to give them credit for trying to take things to the next level by building it into something bigger. They're normally built into a feature, and sometimes make it revolve around a date with the star. They have their faults, but VCA definitely had their mind in the right place when making them.

Taylor Wane's titles are at the low end of average here. She shows some nice creativity in her titles and gets points for trying to build it around a fetish. Unfortunately, most of her technology feels extremely dated.

Below Average

FantaDream's Asian Virtual is okay. It's very basic, and as a virtual sex title really lacked for me. The only good thing about it was there was also an hour long "movie" with the star.

Bouncy has released a few virtual titles, and from the little I've been able to watch of one, it really sucked. Once again, it had a nice idea, but the technical aspect is so basic that you'd think it was made over five years ago.

Anarchy's My Virtual and Playing With barely even qualify as virtual sex titles. They're normally a standard scene that lasts between about a half hour and an hour with the chapter meny built in on the screen. Much of the time the choices don't even give you a clear idea of what you're selecting (SuperCore? Pussy Play?) rather than giving you clear position and sex act choices like the others. Roughly half of their cover claims are normally distortions or outright lies about what the release contains. Perhaps the saddest thing about them is that they do pick some nice talent for the titles who normally do a nice job for their part.

SinTec (and all the other names they go under) has their hands in many of the virtual sex titles out there. They did Adam & Eve's Get Off With Carmen Luvana as well as JKP's My Sex Kitten , Don Goo's virtual sex titles, and their own My Digi-Girl and Diva X . They're like the Mal-Wart of virtual sex, feeling cheap and basic without really giving much quality.

Rocki Roads' was a very rewarding one to find suddenly available everywhere. She was one of those girls who you just knew had a lot more pornopotential than what you saw from her in the average scene over the course of her career. And her Virtual Sex taps into that potential. Her dirty talk was even good! (That's maybe the biggest surprise because I'd formed an impression of her as being kind of a duh, you know?) And for the first time, I got to see those angles I'd been hungering for for years. The doggie was godlike--in later VSW editions they stayed along side of the girl for angle 2, but this was filmed with more of a straight on look at her face, and WHOA! was it hot. The reverse sit looked great and got really nice at times. The facing sit was shorter but still a thrill to see. I was more into the foreplay than usual because the side angle was so good looking and then I'd remember to shift back because Oh yeah that's right, things are getting shoved into her!

So this was a more important title to me than say, Briana Banks Virtual, because Briana did a ton of great performances but Rocki really came out of her shell here.

After all this time I've lost any ability to truly recall all the Virtual titles and rank them. But the Nikki one is indeed lusty and she's fixed up nicely for it.... I thought the Julia Ann and heated Janine editions had their merits, but if the main point of Virtual Sex is to get a great look at the performers, I can think of many earlier titles where I preferred their looks.... I think the thing with Tera Patrick was it was the 1st of these I saw--if you were to compare it to the others it might be "boring" in terms of her not moving around much and repetitive vocals. But it had some eyepopping visuals that blew my mind at the time.... Jesse has lots of energy and if her look doesn't affect you, then I can't help... Devon is impressive and is up there close to the best.... Taylor is sooooo appealing that she fascinates no matter what (unless that's not true for you, which might open the way for her Virtual to be called so-so.) So to recap, that's 1 view of Ms. Hayes being "Soooo," and 1 review for "so-so"). The Briana discs froze up on my players, but what I did see looked like she was lacking the lust that day. Others unseen.

Disappointly, I have to say for most of the virtual sex and My plaything dvd's, you cannot tell whether you are in the nice or naughty mode with the exception of Nikki Tyler and Jesse Jane.

The director has to guide the actresses to fuck harder and talk nastier when in the nasty mode and lessen the intensity when in the nice mode.

As far as Virtual Sex Dvd's go, My Plaything and the Virtual sex Dvd are definitely the highest quality. I disagree with Astroknight on the Perfect Stormy DVD. Stormy is hot, but the dvd sucked.

Its funny that you find My PlayToy #2 to be the worst of the series. I think that one is by far the best. Waay better than #3 and an improvement on #1.

Not only does the lighting and video quality look better, but the camera angles are more "POV"-ish than the others (esp. #3). Plus you can't go wrong with Nicole Sheridan & Kaylynn.

I always liked the Monica Sweetheart one. I think she is really cute and really fun to watch. I was really dissapointed by My Sex Kitten... how can you screw up a virtual sex DVD with Jenna Haze? Have the clips be 30 seconds to a minute... that'll freakin' do it. The sad thing is that if it was longer the My Sex Kitten DVD would've been my favorite as Jenna was excellent in it.
