Thanks Hollywood Woody for giving your reply to my post. First off: I’m not a hater, just a guy with an opinion and I’m not afraid to share it. In fact if you remember, I was the guy who gave high praise to “Striptease” And to B Skow. I’ve also enjoyed many Vivid movies over the years. The last Vivid movie I watched was Dreams of Sunrise: and I’ve already had my say on that one back on the last page of this thread. My thing is pretty simple. I just don’t get the whole scenes or you guys call them vignettes. Take 5 scenes and clump them together and call it a movie. I’m one of those: Give me a reason why these people are having sex. It’s called a porn movie. A movie that has sex in it. If I just wanted to see people fuck I’d join bangbros or any of the other million run of the mill porn sites. But whatever. I’m really not here to argue either. It is what it is. Maybe I have a different view of Vivid then you do. I always thought of it as the pinnacle of adult entertainment. Vivid always had the best looking women with the best “MOVIES”. Who would have thought that Vivid, king of features, would become a factory for hard, hot, no-frills sex? A sad day indeed.

That has been my view of Vivid for years as well. I love their movies with plots, they are top quality and what I associate greatly with Vivid. And Woody if you could point me in the direction of any recent Vivid movies with plots I'd be grateful.
I'm obviously not Hollywood, but after doing a quick Vivid search on this site, here is what I got. The It Girl- credited to Chi Chi Larue. Not sure if this is a re-release, or simply a film that Vivid held back. Chi Chi Larue hasn't been with Vivid for a few years now, far as I know. Spice It Up- Paul Thomas recent release. In Black & White, I Was A Teenage MILF, Heaven- All by Paul Thomas, all 2-3 months old. Heaven looks very good, if not very dark. Don't know how I missed it, but I'll check it out soon. The Pinch- B. Skow... Listed as a comedy based on Voodoo having a small dick. Gonna have to really suspend my disbelief on this one, but I actually think B. Skow does comedy well, so I'll check it out. Liked what little I saw on it. I'd also recommend "Stood Up" by B. Skow to anybody listening. Funny as hell IMO with hot sex to match IMO. It's a little older though.
This is the only one I can vouch for - it was funny, and casting Voodoo was perfect. My only complaints are a) the disconnect between the sex scenes and the plot in terms of cock (the last scene makes sense), and b) the sex scenes are *very* long. I liked it, though.

Thanks Duffy for your comments. I didn't mean to call you a hater, you have been very kind. You should know, that B Skows movies do have a plot, although thin, a plot is there. We are not going into the gonzo market, we still should plot driven movies, with harder sex. I relay all posts to the powers that be. Hearing from you guys is what improves our product. You are the customer, it is you we want to please.
Hi Woody! I'm a new member but had been reading through the thread and thank you for making yourself available to us for constructive criticism, praise, etc. I know you guys get hated on a lot but IMO you've been doing some great stuff the last year + . I think it's all come together with great talent (Hanna Hilton/Meggan Mallone), directors (B Skow & PT), production, and video quality. In regards to video quality I was happy to to see how you had embraced the HD Blu-Ray technology, particularly when it came to Hanna Hilton releases (I own Suck It, Hanna's House, Bounce, & Sugar on Blu Ray). However, I noticed since Hanna's House there have been no new or upcoming Blu Ray releases. Is this due to lack of sales of the format? I'd really hate to see you guys abandon the format as you were the first to utilize it (I believe). It'd be great to see Bounce 2, Milf Stories, and Spice It Up get some high quality love. Are there plans for any of those titles to be released in Blu Ray. Thanks for taking the time to read/respond.

It is due to lack of sales on blu ray, I expect that to change after the holidays. When we can offer BR at a better price, I think it may move much better. I believe the players will go down in price soon. Thanks for your comments, you are a nice person!
Thanks for the response! I think your expectations are correct - with so many upgrading their TV sets this year due to the analog to digital switch I'd expect HD Players and media to be heavy sellers this holiday season, which will lead to better prices. In your opinion is it a possiblity that '08-'09 titles that were shot in HD but not released in Blu Ray would get released in the format once it makes more economical sense down the line?

Your bluray disc are way to pricy right now. I want to buy "The Nikki Jayne Experiment" it costs 46$ at dvdboxoffice where I usually buy my stuff. The dvd version of the same film is only 26$ I mean thats almost the 50% up...

They shot some of the hottest nastiest scenes for B Skow. Tiffany and Ashlyn Rae both did amazing girl girl scenes together.. that is all they do. They also did some killer solos. Edited by - hollywood woody on 11/24/2009 2:56:32 PM
