Why would this jackass Eon McKai make the comment "Fuck The USA"? Is he even american? After hearing Pixie Pearl on Howard Stern today I was already to go out and purchase Girls Lie but not now. If this is Vivid's feeling about the USA I dont have any use for their product anymore. If Im taking this link wrong please tell me what it is hes saying then
While I have my own feelings about Vivid-alt, alt-porn in general and the 'genius' that is Eon McKai, I think that we may be blowing this quote out of proportion a bit.
It's pretty clear in context that his "Fuck the USA" comment had to do with the American market. Apparently the Germans dig the alt-shit the way they dig other things that come from the colon.
Good for him.
Even if that is Eon's feeling in general....free speech and all that.
That's another debate for another time. I honestly think that Eon was just super psyched that alt-porn seems to be huge in the same country that made Hasslehoff a mega-star.
I saw the Girls Lie premiere at the Berlin film festival. It was fascinating to watch porn on a big screen and the technical video aspects looked good.
Eon made a comment to the audience about his movie where it still is basically a porn movie having to devolve from whatever point the movie is trying to make. I certainly couldn't figure it out and was wondering if it was just the generation gap.
I could only sit through 3 scenes though before having to leave and that's not enough to do a proper review.

As it concerns our nation's shitty politics & government, I sort of agree with that saying. That is, the same government that is trying to restrict your right to watch ANY porn, because it's "immoral".

Cant stand to listen to Nugent or Hannity and I dont care much for the gov. either but I aslo cant stand a foreigner to say Fuck the USA for me its unforgivable in any context

Eon Mckai is a foreigner??? and while I'm in agreement that one should criticize their own before criticizing other countries, I'm not sure it's unforgivable in any context... I mean, if planes with our logo on 'em napalmed your county, or one of our companies stole your farm, or we trained the death squads that killed your priest or sister... you might feel like yelling something like that. Hypothetically.
I don't think that eon meant any disrespect to the USA! I mean, I think what he is trying to say is that a lot of people are bashing the alt-porn genre in the USA. Instead of embracing some change to the porn norm, people are bashing it usually stating that it is nothing new and has been done before. Maybe over in Berlin they have a more open mindset to eon's vision. I don't think that he honestly meant any real disrespect and I think it was taken out of context. If a star is in a movie you like, regardless of whether you like the director or not, you should still check out the movie to support the star's performance and work.
this is taken from an AIM conversation and completely out of context. besides the fact that eon cant even spell and it is more than likely that he meant to type something else, as said before he was referring to a market, not a country.
