Wicked manages to have a stable contract roster over the years.
Apart from Keri Sable and Carmen Hart all girls stayed with the company for a long time in the last years.
But at Vivid and Digital Playground the contract girls change so quickly.
Why do the girls sign today and leave tomorrow?

With Vivid, I would venture a guess is that they are not getting to promotion they feel they deserve. Vivid is notorious for holding movies for years of their stars. If their movies are being held back, then they're not getting the face time in the magazines and therefore not getting the promotion needed to boost their other revenue streams such as feature dancing.
That's just my guess with Vivid...
I think Digital Playground puts a stranglehold on their girls in the legal trademark sense. That probably turns off a few once they realize that they're now officially owned.
But what do I know? They could all just be flakes mixed with bad luck by the companies.

That's a distinct possibility. The major feature studios may be expecting more professionalism and hard work out of the girls than they are capable of giving.

It is pretty hit and miss. You really can't say Digital does not keep them as they had Tera for years and Jesse for even longer.
One of the things that probably gives Wicked the edge is that if you look at their girls they tend to be ones who have already been in the industry for a while. Stephanie Swift, Serenity, Kristen Price, Devinn Lane, jessica drake etc were all well established before coming to Wicked and working.
Digital on the other hand tends to go for the newer girls which sometimes works but usually does not as most new girls in the industry are gone before the majority of their movies even get released.
Even Adam & Eve has had a problem keeping their contract girls outside of Carmen who again was in the industry for over a year before she went to work for them.
For the companies it really comes down to what you are looking for.
