Well, it is my understanding that Sunrise Adams is done with the business for now though she does have at least two movies for them in the can currently and unreleased.
I have also heard that they have released Malezia.
And most recently Tera Patrick announced that her films through Teravison will be distributed via someone other than VIVID. Speculation is that since her videos haven't been selling all that well (according to the source) after her first couple of blockbusters that VIVID may be moving on from her.
I also listen to an interview with Steve Hirsch the other day and he said that currently they nine VIVID girls so maybe we should start there and see what we can come up with.
From the best of my knowledge, these are the girls that I believe are still contract girls: Jenna Jameson, Brianna Banks, Savanna Samson, Tera Patrick, Mercedez, Tawny Roberts, Sunny Leone, Malezia (but SunriseFan99 said she could have been released), Lanny Barby, Stefani Morgan, Lexie Marie, Taya (Is she still under contract?), Monique Alexander, Lacey and Lyndsey Love, .
That is WAY more than 9!!! haha So maybe they did fire a few!
If they are cleaning house, it's not that big of a surprise. With the recent signings of Stefani Morgan, The Love Twins, Lanny Barby, and Sunny Leone they exasperated the problem of an all ready over-crowded roster of contract girls.
I've read that Monique & Lexie had signed a one-year contract so it may be that Vivid has shortened the length of their contracts for all performers. They may not want 5-year contract girls anymore, and Malezia's contract may simply have expired. Mercedez had acquired her fanbase (not easy in the gonzo age when you don't holler "fuck me" every 2 seconds, but she seems to rank quite high in pornstar free galleries), Malezia was growing on me & it seems that people are finally waking up to Savanna. Those short contracts, I don't know who's benefiting from them. With such a turnaround, being a "Vivid girl" does't seem to mean a thing any longer.
Long time coming too.... I fell in love w/ Savanna the first time I saw her..... @ Scores........... When I found out SHE was a Vivid girl..... I blew my top !
Now that Sunrise is gone SHE is the only 1 that keeps me watching Vivid....
this is not such bad news. maybe some of them start doing hardcore scenes in gonzo (again), I surely would like to see Sunrise Adams in a RLD, PXP, or Third Degree anal fuck fest.

use the Search DVD Prices feature and type Mercedez to find a bunch of Vivid compilations. I've not seen any of them but they will be a mixed bag of scenes from different vivid adult stars with a few of them being Mercedez.
I'm a big fan of Mercedez and I've reviewed a number of her titles HERE. My favourites are "VIP 54" & "Sweetie Baby", the 1st one for her sex scenes, the 2nd for the storyline. "Another Woman's Eyes" & "So I married a Pornstar" were also nice, avoid "Out of Control" like the plague. Save for "Out of Control", all of those feature 3 Mercedez sex scenes by movie + 3 bonus clips, so you can't lose.
