| Soul Sphere Member Norway 117 Posts 2/05 | Posted - Dec 6 2006 : 6:42AM I`ve been a member at vivid.com for a year now.I know that Lexie Marie and Nina Mercedez are both gone for sure.They have signed several new girls during this last year.I believe their latest installments are Kayden Kross and Brea Lynn.No movies out yet, its to early.I`m pretty sure that Savanna is still around, I think I read something about shes being on a long term contract.Sunrise Adams should be back according to their newsletters on site, as well is Cassidy.Not sure about Briana Banks, her latest release for them was Briana Loves Rocco, and it is a while back now.Although it could also be just a small break.Monique Alexander is still there, I believe shes also on a long term contract. | Derek117 Senior Member 1605 Posts 1/06 | Posted - Dec 6 2006 : 8:36AM Still you won't notice any shortage in Brianna or Savanna product (if they are semi-retired) for months or years: Vivid keeps so many scenes in the can that they can release long after the girl has left or retired. Example: "Janine's Been Blackmaled" was released about a year after she had left Vivid and was working for Digital Playground. BTW, January is the time when Vivid usually rolls out what I call it's "Yearly LineUp"--so there won't be a final answer to the who's in/out question until then. They sometimes like to have a surprise new girl...either someone who had been retired (like a Cassidy) or a newbie who has just signed with them, which is what they did when they signed Monique Alexander and Lexie Marie. Bottom line: the economics of porn is now very multi-faceted, and if a girl has a fan base she can make a good income via photos shoots, hard/soft website work, and the dance circuit. In fact doing video porn, in some instances, contributes the least amount of money to a female performer's overall income. [Link] |

Lexie & Monique Alexander had just joined Vivid, and Tawny and Mercedez hadn't left yet. Also director, Chi Chi LaRue, hadn't left Vivid in protest to their change to a condoms "optional" policy. Bottom line: Vivid probably has un-released scenes of girls going back as far as (1988's Vivid Girl) Jamie Summers...that they'll release when they believe it will make them money. And, we're not even going to talk about the amount of times they re-package scenes in their compilations. Yep...porn is a business. [Link] |
