Yup. Pretty sure the proposition for Vixen is simply something along the lines of "mainstream porn done better/done the Lansky way", and of course that will include some anal scenes just for variety, like pretty much every mainstream porn site. Can't really understand why people are surprised by it. Is anyone surprised there's anal on Blacked, rather than it being featured on a standalone "IR anal" site? Tushy covers a very specific niche as an all-anal/anal debuts site, and that hardly precludes the appearance of anal scenes on a non-niche site by the same company.
Everything's in competition to everything else. I'm sure there was also somebody who subscribed to Blacked primarily for the occasional anal scene, not because of the IR angle, and that member jumped ship when Tushy opened up. As long as Lansky et al. kept getting that guy's dollars though, I doubt they cared which site he was subscribing to. And the same will go for your dollars. If the net extra subscribers they get with Vixen make it financially worthwhile to have added a third site, it's totally irrelevant that it's cannibalizing the existing two sites a bit, too. They really need to change things up, both on Tushy and Vixen. 90% of the scenes feature the same male talent, and the exact same storyline, older-european-wealthy-businessman. Like come on, some creativity wouldn't hurt.
In my opinion, drawing back the curtains or finding some lights should take priority across all Greg Lansky's sites right now. Every scene is so dark and grey these days. What ever happened to the well-lit, all white setting?
Isnt this really just taking what joymii /nutabu or even some hints of what Alis locanta is doing if you look at some of the scenes ? not very original slightly disappointing from greg in my mind
^ Honestly, Blacked/Tushy were never that original in the first place. The "originality" of both them (Blacked specifically, Tushy less so) was taking an aesthetic that was already being used for b/g and g/g porn by other companies (X-Art and the like) and applying it to genres that those companies weren't shooting very much of (IR, anal). Removing the specificity of the acts makes it more like those other sites, and makes it more dependent on the technical quality of the scenes and how good the performers he chooses are. Yeah, I believe in Greg, I hope to see many, many more exclusive first b/g scenes. Here is ultimate target. In this interview Tessa Fowler said she's not against b/g and that everybody has a price. For those who are not familiar with Tessa, we are talking about this:
Surprised nobody discusses or even posted Kendra Sunderland's Vixen trailer. That's supposed to be biggest "break the internet" moment for Greg and biggest exlusive of all his sites. We are talking about celebrity doing hardcore for the first time on camera and seems likely she will remain exlusive to his site for a while, if not forever. Amazing way to launch your new site with this mindblowing exclusive. Vixen - "My Friend's Daughter"
It was all over the news a year ago, she's pretty much gained celebrity status after whole thing went down. The fact that Greg's secured her first B/G is unbelievable. Major porn companies tried but failed. In that article Greg said there will definitely be a lot more collaborations between them in the future while her bf said it's a one time thing. Guess time will tell whose statement is closer to reality.

I don't want to downplay Lansky's impressive and likely much envied achievement here, but to the extent that Kendra's "gained celebrity status" she's on a very low rung of fame. I doubt that many people would know who she is if you were to show them a headshot of her.
^ Yeah, I think you're underestimating how popular she is and how many people outside of porn would recognize her. She went viral worldwide and is making a living being "That Library Girl". Certainly more recognizable than vast majority of porn performers.

^I agree that she's probably more recognizable than most other women in porn, but that's not saying much. You yourself were "surprised nobody discusses or even posted Kendra Sunderland's Vixen trailer." Kind of a strange reaction to a "celebrity" exclusive, no?
Maybe Kendra's Boyfriend will be cool and like many others let her at least do some G/G. But I'm guessing the ultimate get for Lansky would be getting Kendra's first and possibly only Anal & IR for Tushy/Blacked. But maybe he will also go after other softcore and webcam models and get their first B/G's too. Even if they are not that well known, knowing you are seeing their first B/G holds a certain appeal to many. He could also go after the lower-tier G/G performers and get their first B/G's too.
^^ Or it could just be that even though she went viral, that was over a year ago and the internet tends to have a short memory. I don't want to take away from what Lansky has done, because it is an impressive get, but Kendra has for the past year been doing nearly everything that a porn performer does except perform in scenes (i.e. conventions, feature dancing appearances, things like that), so her deciding to do a professional scene (because this isn't her first b/g video) isn't a big shock to me. And at the conventions I've seen her at, she hasn't been anywhere near the most popular woman there. This isn't about ADT members being in a bubble, this is about porn fans in general not paying attention to her because she wasn't shooting porn. ^ Then let me rephrase, it's not the first time she's had sex with a man on camera. She did it as a camgirl (though I'm not sure if it was a cam show or a video she was selling to people). It is her first professional scene overall, I believe, and definitely her first professional boy/girl scene.
Kendra Sunderland is a nice get and from the preview it looks like Lansky is using angles outside of his usual toolkit. I hope that carries over to Blacked. I suspect the primary reason for the existence of Vixen is because he wants to work with models who won't do IR or anal.
I like Gregs work but its a copy of Tushy and Blacked. So there is more of the same on the market. Good news for some but to be honest..... If you see one GREG-L- ffm-scene you've seen them all. Always the same positions in the same order.. no surprises. I do like the little setups, but during the sex... the talking and script go into the bin. Dear Greg, please try some other/new sex-and camerapositions Or perhaps.. just do your thing... Mike Adriano is doing the same for years now ... I don't even bother to watch the trailers but he must have a solid fanbase. Edited by - tintintin on 8/1/2016 8:55:56 AM
Joined Vixen straight away just on the strength of the Leah Gotti scene. Really disappointed to find a 'distortion' line running across the screen for around 28 minutes. From the comments seems like everyone else is having the same problem but several days on and no fix. Hope this isn't a sign of one site too far with quality sacrificed to get it up and running.
I think that's one of the reasons. The other one is maybe to capture the female porn viewer market. Girls like good themes, highly aesthetic shots and no so anal-focused scenes (like Tushy) when they watch porn usually.

^I like all kinds of porn, and I'm not the exception. It's notable that two of Legal Porno's biggest fans on this forum are myself and Canadian_Cindy. That site doesn't just regularly feature anal, but DAP and TAP. I appreciate and applaud Lansky's aesthetic where Blacked is concerned, but the IR aspect is essential to the appeal for me.
Me too!!! Kimmy Granger + Sydney Cole Cyrstal Rae Blake Eden Bree Daniels and now Kendra Sunderland!!! i repeat, KENDRA SUNDERLAND, amazing!!! This is simply a dream, Greg Lansky you are my idol
As a female viewer I am definitely drawn to Lansky's porn for aesthetic reasons. I like beautiful women beautifully captured. I like how the women are styled and the minimal makeup. I like that they look healthy and happy. I can definitely see Vixen appealing to a certain segment of the female market that prefers beautiful shoots over extreme acts. I think most women who watch porn have diverse tastes though -- at least more than we're typically given credit for -- and aren't necessarily looking for pretty couples friendly porn. Mason/HardX are about as extreme as I get though, because she does stuff I have an appetite for like blowbangs, gangbangs and DPs, but the aesthetics and Mason's rapport with the performers are still essential to my overall enjoyment. Occasionally I watch Evil Angel or Jules Jordan movies but have never had memberships to those sites.
Quite a few releases have been "glitchy" on the Lansky sites. Given the relative low frequency of releases compared to some other sites, and that (to my knowledge) errors have not been rectified, this has been disappointing. Recently, Blacked (Marley Brinx) had random blocks/artifacts throughout. Adria/Ariana scene had your "distortion lines" during the intro/recap of Adria's first Blacked scene... Anyway, as for Vixen, I'll say this as a nod to some of the other comments/criticisms made so far. The most noticeable difference about the new site is probably the logo...
I'd like to see an OC Modeling girl named Bre Blu on Vixen or Blacked. She's all natural and very pretty. According to her 7/30 Twitter post, she hasn't been booked for b/g yet. Edited by - fanofman on 8/2/2016 4:06:58 PM
Who's Tiff Bannister? Or is that the joke? I didn't know who Kendra was but then someone mentioned that she was the girl in the viral video masturbating in a university library. I vaguely remember that story. It had a solid week of Internet hype, which is about the most viral videos can expect these days with our constantly shifting attention spans. I wouldn't say she's a celebrity by any means but I suspect she's the kind of person who's going to get some residual attention from mainstream outlets the way Belle Knox did just because she came to their notice in the first place. I wouldn't say Belle had a very distinguished body of work in porn but for a time she had the attention of the general culture. It seems maybe like that kind of thing, and for that reason Lansky got a nice exclusive here. She's a very pretty girl but I haven't had the opportunity to watch the update yet. Looking forward to it.
A huge get for Vixen IMHO would be an exclusive b/g scene from Kenna James, if she ever changes her mind on that. But g/g will always be my favorite genre and I'll be very happy if she remains g/g-only. Either way, I hope Lansky captures her before long. Please. 😍
She is a web celebrity, internet porn celebrity. She's been called as such in the media and her whole business is revolving around being a celebrity. You don't have to live in Hollywood and make millions to be one lol.
Vixen.com scenes are amazing, because there is a sophisticated atmosphere but rough sex & great chemistry between the performers too I can only say that Kendra's scene is fantastic, she could be a star if the words of Greg Lansky ("We may collaborate again in the future") will be true Another scene for Vixen with Manuel Ferrara could consecrate her and after move on to Blacked and maybe Tushy Greg you are our only hope
^ Um, I'm not insulting her. I commented based on my own perception. A person is a celebrity to me if they have name recognition or I recognise them or whatever. It's pretty simple. Until Vixen launched I didn't know her. I didn't say anything about Hollywood or millions. And my humble little comment is not going to affect her truckloads of success, I'm sure. I like her and I said Lansky did well to get her, so... *shrug*
Yeah, that pretty much was the joke. Anyway, to answer seriously: Random girl who amassed tons of Twitter followers - roughly as many as Sunderland has right now - a few years ago by having some charisma, posting semi-nude shots of herself and teasing a future porn career. Note that the very first post in her ADT thread referred to her as an "internet celebrity". The mainstream component of her "celebrity" status was certainly smaller than it was with Sunderland, but I bet on the internet she was an even bigger deal. Lasted about a year in porn, and didn't seem to make any major waves beyond her well-publicized initial entry. Oh, and much like Sunderland she was pretty much a non-entity here on ADT until she actually did begin to shoot porn. I wasn't much of a fan of the ridiculous Belle Knox hype either, but she was miles ahead of both Bannister and Sunderland in public recognition; at least she managed to be recognized as an actual person, not just "that chick who went viral on the internet". And of course Knox's porn career fizzled out rather quickly, too. Edited by - shalalin on 8/2/2016 7:32:38 PM
