Does anyone know a place to rent Video on Demand for OS X? They all seem to be windows based.

If you can find a Divx player for the Mac you should be able to do downloadable VOD rentals.

I'm pretty sure that DivX does not support rentals in the MacOS X/9 version.

I confirmed this with their support folks last year and as far as I know this has not changed.

I have had satisfactory results with the streaming VOD at www.aebn.net

The only catch is that Mac users must use the RealPlayer and Pay-PerMinute VOD only.

Even though you can play DivX on the mac with a couple of players, you need the actual DivX player to validate the rental, and that player has never been developed for the mac. Probably never will be. If the downloadable VOD's were permanent sales instead of high priced rentals there would be no problem.
