It's important if, when reviewing my scenes, fans realize that blanket statements such as "your scene with Lex was really boring" can hurt me and my career in ways you might not anticipate. The negative comments on this thread about the scene have revealed that any dislike of the scene has to do with Lex's age and that he doesn't perform the way he did 10 years ago. Well, that has nothing to do with me and my performance. And for the record, I LOVED the scene I shot with Lex. I enjoyed myself. I wish that were enough for you guys to all enjoy the scene, too. I don't have a time machine. If the only reason you didn't LOVE the scene is because you think Lex should have fucked me harder, the way his 30-year-old self would have, then going around saying "Siri's first IR with lex was boring" is not going to change anything. Sorry. In fact, it's going to make OTHER directors think twice before hiring me for THEIR IR movies, because they heard fans say bad things about my first IR scene. Fan feedback matters a lot. It matters more than you think it does. So please only say things you REALLY mean when reviewing a scene - and even better, give specific ideas for what could have made the scene better in your opinion. If you actually want to see me perform in more (and better, to your taste) IR scenes, then it would be more helpful if, instead of criticizing what is already done and can't be undone, you wrote encouraging things, requested me for scenes to other companies who shoot IR, or simply wrote about what your ideal scene with me in it would look like. AND your voice is more likely to be heard by actual producers and directors if instead of reviewing my scenes on my performer board, you write these things on Evil Angel's or Lex's Director board, for example. Click to expand Also, technically the truth is that they can't put it on those sites unless it's uploaded/pressed to DVD, not released. If you go to those torrent/tube sites, you'll sometimes see scenes that aren't due to be released for a few days because they've already been uploaded to prepare for release and someone found a way to access them that way. (IR, anal, gangbang and DAP fans, in particular, from my observations.) But, you're right, posting bitchy criticism -- particularly when it's not even really about you -- helps no one. FWIW, I think that what Lex says about you to his fellow directors and studios will matter far more than a few disgruntled fans. Also, unless the people doing the hiring decisions are living on another planet, they ought to be aware that you are rapidly -- rapidly! -- becoming a very strong fan favorite! Glad you enjoyed yourself with Lex. My impression has always been that he treats the girls with respect, and comports himself (onscreen, at least) as a real gentleman. In recent months, I’ve found that many of my posts result in other users making snide or nasty comments. It is no longer a rewarding experience to devote time each day to posting on ADT. To those of you who have appreciated my interaction with you, thank you. To those of you who do not like the way I entertain you on film and insist on being mean-spirited, you’ve succeeded in chasing me away. -Siri ETA: The above post was posted after I last checked ADT and before I clicked the "post" button on this post. My decision to leave has nothing to do with the above post- I had already decided before I'd seen it. My decision is also not related to the one reviewer who commented about my scene with Lex in another thread, as has been speculated about. As stated above, I just don't find it rewarding to spend time posting here anymore. Please respect my decision and refrain from personally attacking me. Hollywood actors, actresses and directors get shredded in reviews nearly every day, and yet they still manage to interact with fans without tucking tail and running home. If Siri can't take a mildly critical view of her vaunted first IR on the internet, how can she take a director giving her a critical assessment on set or after the scene is edited, in person? She is thinskinned, period, if she lets the words of a vanishingly small few people drive her away from her legions of fans here. It's not the critic's fault. It's only partially her fault, for being so sensitive to views that don't align with her own. It's YOU, the sycophantic worshiping fans who refuse to acknowledge faults, who shoulder most of the blame. You insulated her from her critics. You shout down anyone with a different viewpoint. You swarm to her defense, as if she needs you to ride in on a white horse and do battle for her. It gives her an inflated view of herself in the eyes of the fans, and when someone comes along who dares to say otherwise, and can actually get through YOU to get to her, she runs. Siri is a grown ass woman, a performer whose work is available for public consumption and -YES- criticism. No other star is immune, why should she be? You guys talk shit about other performers constantly, vitriolic hateful words at that. I or another person can't say, "hey Siri, I wasn't that high on your latest scene" but some of you can call a performer with breast implants weird, ruined or deformed? You attack people for allegedly having butt implants; there's a whole damn thread about THAT, lol. These are personal assaults, but they're okay. Say anything, even something not personal, about the "busty goddess" you all seem to blindly adore that doesn't follow the party line, and get smacked down. Does that make ANY sense? Let her run. I think the issue comes from giving us fans far too weight on what we say. We are much lower than you in the pecking order. We don't matter much. And for every guy that posts a negative review(and it wasn't even about you) and there are 100 other happy fans that do not post a review. That is the way the whole review thing works. (hence the infamous Yelp controversies) And even the piracy issue on reddit AMA. I got a feeling that you let the negative thoughts a little too much from your posts. I could tell how strongly you feel about some of the issues from your posts. But please pick your battles. You are too popular(time wise) to waste your emotional energy on things you have no control of. If you put yourself out there in an attempt to entertain people, you have to willing to accept all flavors of feedback, be they positive or negative. I like Siri, she's my kind of porn star, and I support her by buying as much of her content as I can manage. She's sexy, I like to watch her do her thing on camera, and I have no problem praising her. Case in point: a few months back, I listed her in my top ten starlets of all time, made all the more impressive because of her relative newness. "Good" comments are okay. Apparently, as long as that's the extent of my public discourse on her, that's fine. The moment I or anyone else brings up a legitimate complaint or concern, it appears to be met with negative feedback not just by her but a legion of defenders. That's saddening to me, because we'll never see real growth from a starlet if they're never told what their weak areas are. Let me be clear, I mean real, constructive criticism, not vociferous hatred based more off the poster's insecurities than anything the performer may or may not have done. For example, she waited a little while to do her first IR. I'm okay with that. Some others clearly aren't. She hasn't done anal yet. I'm also okay with that. Others aren't. In both cases, people have gone out of their way, seemingly, to call her out on it, and in an extremely negative fashion. I can see having a problem with those posts. However, expressing sadness at a level headed criticism about her choice of co-star isn't an attack. It's a legit beef with a scene that was highly anticipated and I, ultimately, felt fell short of what it could have been. If she can't parse through the thickheaded comments and see the real critiques for what they are and keep moving forward, if she can't handle the notion that sometimes some "fans" are assholes, and instead of ignoring them she "regretfully" has to quit a forum, then she is too weakminded to be in the adult entertainment industry. Not everybody is going to like you all the time for everything you do. I would think this would be one of the earliest lessons a performer would learn. What's funny to me is this: as long as the posters on this forum are tongue wagging, wolf-calling, worshipful and starstruck, the performers eat it up. The second someone steps out of line and says something even mildly uncomfortable, the actresses get their backs up, and they have a swarm of goonish, mindless zombie fans ready to pounce on whoever the star designates as their target. I'm PM'd to death over this, with people saying all sorts of nasty stuff to me, as if I or my words had something to do with Siri leaving this forum. I praised, praised, praised, then I dared to look at something she presented with a less than positive eye. How dare I not tow the line and stay in lockstep with the rest of the beauty-blinded fans! You drove her away from us, thatonebigdude! I will NOT accept the fault for this. SHE chose to take what I said in a negative way, and SHE chose to let my words and the words of a few others run her off. Think about that: she hears good things about herself all day long on this site, and as soon as somebody dares to speak differently, it's "goodbye, cruel world". Fanboys, that's what she thinks about you. You're not I'm done with this site as far as posting is concerned. I'll go back to lurking and reading reviews, as my input -the "negative" input, anyway- isn't valued because I don't have H cups and take dick on camera. [Link]

Pretty much every performer thread is littered with incessant demands, speculation, etc. I don't blame anyone in particular for running Siri off, but I am disappointed, because she was one of the few performers that actually provided some honest insight into the business. Your comment that a performer who chooses to leave the forum is too thin skinned for the industry is ridiculous, though. How many veteran performers have done it already? If it's important to a performer's success that she interact with fans, twitter more than takes care of that. [Link]
