| DarkDeveloper Member 57 Posts 6/10 |  Posted - Aug 21 2016 : 11:35AMHi, Forgive me if this has been asked before (although I have'nt found a discussion on the subject) I notice that VR Porn seems to be in at the moment, and notice that the available clips/videos are in various formats and advertised as being compatible with different headsets i.e. videos in horizontal and vertical split screen format, Compatible with 'GearVR', 'Octlus Rift', 'Mobile/Smartphone' So, assuming I were to purchase one of the cheapo VR headsets (i.e. Freefly VR or Google Cardboard): 1. Would these clips play nicely on the Android smartphone? 2. Do you need special VR media players to play back these clips, and can they handle the seemingly different video formats (i.e. horizontal/vertical split screen)? 3. Finally, would clips billed as 'GearVR' or 'Octlus' work (i.e. in a 'VR' sense) with the Google Cardboard/Freefly format headsets? Thanks in advance for any advice!  [Link] |
| spacebear7778 New Member 2 Posts 3/17 | Posted - Mar 24 2017 : 8:19AM Samsung galaxy S6 or Iphone 6s mimimum recommended because to have a good quality you need a phone with 4k resolution support minimum 2k and 1080p is really not enough to have a good quality video you also maybe choose "180° 3D videos in 2K resolution minimum "more than anything else you will get the best immersion !
