Haven't posted anything or any reviews in a long while. Here I am, waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve. I'm hoping the sleazy old elf brings me the new Colt Reload DVD by John Rutherford and maybe Sex Pigs from MRS and a few other buff and delicious surprises. If he does, I'll post some reviews soon.

Santa was good to me this year... he brought Sex Pigs, Lumberjacked, Slammer and Swell. I hear he got them all for a song off ebay!

Santa was good to me this year, too (He heard about my New Year's resolution and stocked me up with four dozen titles that had been languishing in my Comparison Cart: one a week until my December purchasing window re-opens!) ~ GS

Santa brught me a nice selection of titles. I've got so many that I still have not watched.

Also, a good friend of mine gave me "Borstal Boy" dvd, a gay themed (non-porn) movie. Iv'e never heard of it. Has anyone viewed this flick?

Well, Borstal Boy is the autobiographical work of the 20th century Irish playwright Brendan Behan and is about his sentenced stay in a British borstal or reformatory for being involved in Irish revolutionary activities. An interesting comparison might be Tony Richardson’s The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner , also a film about reform school lads. I think that is only out on VHS, though. Borstal Boy is warm and funny and sad while Loneliness is just about the bleakest, most depressing film I have ever seen. Both are excellent.

Addendum:

Santa did leave me Reload from John Rutherford and Colt and Sex Pigs from MSR. My initial reactions are that Reload is good but not as "Colt-like" as I expected. The scene with Tod Parker, Jake Gianelli and Trey Rexx is just like the amazing muscle-god stuff of the old Colt but the remainder of the scenes, while very good, are not terribly different than what you might find in any other well-filmed porn from a major studio. Sex Pigs , on the other hand, is raw and rough and delicious throughout. More detailed reviews to follow.
