I am about to start working on a project that revolves around me personally. It is part of the Essentially line only it's called Basically. The reason behind this is because sometimes the fans become involved in the movies. They do this by either being extras, doing a scene perhaps with their wife or husband etc., or a number of other ways. This is not a movie where I have sex with fans... it's a movie where fans may have the possibility to get involved in some way. You don't have to even live close necessarily either. There are ideas of having fans come up with places or locations to shoot that might be in other countries like England or any place in Europe. Or, even in the United States. I guess what I'm looking for now is more like... well what sort of scenario might some fans like to see me in? And, how might we involve them? I realize this is like opening up a huge can of worms.. but, hey let's try to be reasonable here. I am asking for suggestions... but, try not to get too crazy. To give some idea.... perhaps I could find a log cabin to shoot in for a weekend... where there is a river.... etc... or maybe ... we could shoot on a boat that someone owns.. that is big enough for the crew etc to go out on for a day or so.. ... maybe.... someone has a place in a tropical location with some nice scenery or background that they might like to invite us to see.... does anyone know of some waterfalls that we could shoot at?.... I really like the idea of getting out in nature... at this time of year... it's a thought... Or if someone had a place of business that they might like to use as a backdrop etc.... there are all sorts of ideas out there.. just have to find the right combination... If anyone is serious about this.. has any ideas.. and the way to do so... I can help with other details and how things might come about... I just need info and someone who is serious about making it happen... I appreciate any ideas or thoughts.... thanks....
There wouldn't be an ulterior motive in that recommendation, would there? Where are you from exactly, Planet? Oh, yeah, I remember.

England. I lived there for three months. Nice place to buy used books and movie memorabilia. Great shows at Covent Garden. The MOMI and the Museum of Natural History - cool!

Am I the only one detecting a hint of desperation here? Maine full of ghosts? England too cold? Do you really expect anyone to believe these fairy stories?
As for your experiences living in England for 3 months. I think the clue is in the particular 3 months you were there - November, December and January. In this part of the world we have a term for those months. What is it now? It's on the tip of my tongue. Oh yeah, I remember - Winter. You might want to look it up sometime. Some parts of the world have these things called seasons. They are designed to stop people getting bored with every day being just like the last one.
Don't be fooled by this negative campaigning, Wendy. It's getting like the Olympic bids around here. He'll be trying to bribe the delegates next. Some of us are fighting fair here. I fully support the Maine bid. It sounds lovely. Lets get this campaign out of the gutter. Say yes to Maine and England.

I guess you'd call it our front yard. Our very strange house has doors everywhere - it was built in parts. We have ten acres "behind" it that are all woods, then the yard in front which leads to woods and the creek. I was in CA for so long that I forgot how wonderful seasons are. Every week new flowers bloom in the yard, new kinds of berries pop up in the woods - the creek is constantly changing. We get thunderstorms, then sunshine, then misty days - the variety is really nice.
The bugs (flies and mosquitos) absolutely sucked for a couple weeks in spring. They're a lot better now. After a rainy day they're back - but no big deal.
Late September is supposed to be the prettiest time of year with the best weather - that's when the leaves change - and the deer will come back around (they go higher up into the mountains during the summer.) We have yet to see a moose at our place, but there's plenty of evidence that they're around.
tbr - we're only a few hours from Boston - you could fly in for Wendy's movie :)
Steph: I think that tbr lives in England... don't think that is too close to Boston or Maine... I could be wrong though .
so now, here is the hard part... Does anyone know of places where you can shoot that we wont get in any trouble? Or, does anyone have information on how to obtain maybe a permit to film etc... if not.. then maybe we should concentrate on places where we know we are safeguarded really well... for instance.. if someone has a really nice huge living room that looks really neat... or a huge backyard that is very interesting and unique... maybe someone knows of a location that is really beautiful that we can shoot at that isn't overrun by too many people that we might be able to do something with... I really do like the outdoors... but, we need to make sure that we either wont get in trouble or get caught.. (did I say that) Ok, so far I've at least seen pictures of Maine... good start... but, I haven't seen pictures of any place in Rio or in England. Nor have I been given any idea as to where in these places I might shoot.... so you two.... seems like you have your work cut out for you... let me see if I can help a little really nice hotel suites.... night clubs... fancy homes or gardens.. outdoor locations that are not going to get us arrested... camping areas with enough so that I don't have to bathe in the river.. (shower, etc) Rivers are good too... just refer to above.. Museums are likely to get us in trouble... but, if you know someone.. hey... never know.. ruins of some kind... (castles, landmarks, Rome ) Yachts.. even a cruise ship... Private property with enough acreage so that we can be free and wild... Really pretty swimming pools with nice backgrounds... If anyone has any information regarding these type of settings or any other ideas that they think might be great to use that they can help with.. then I'd love to hear about it.. please let me know with as much detail as you can give and if you need to just email me the rest... please include whether or not there might be fees to worry about for instance if I have to pay for the cabin.. or the park or the entrance fees for something.. etc..we can get most of the details through email... but, I thank you for the start we have here... sounds great so far.. just need to get a little more than a country although I like what we have so far...

Wendy, don't you have any professional help putting this together, or are you trying to do it all yourself? Actually it's not that I don't have help.. the point is to get fans involved... see the movie is called Basically Wendy... and what happens is.. that I get to make some of my "fantasies" happen on film.. or at least maybe ideas I have for scenes. Because I am working on a Basically and not an Essentially that means I can involve my fans... I was hoping to do this by having them give me ideas of what they would like to see.. or how they might like to help.. for instance.. offering their homes... or businesses.. or even areas that are around them as places for me to go.. thus also being close to them possibly enabling them to get involved in the scene as well... by either being an extra or even perhaps shooting a scene depending on the circumstances.. I do have professional help yes... but, what I'm offering is a chance to get the fans involved in the production or even the shoot itself in one way or another... sometimes it helps just having fans offer ideas... you never know what you might come up with... it could be great... and you can never run out of location ideas... so that is why I asked... all I need is a little info and then I can go from there with the help of my manager.. My basic question is... does anyone have a location they might offer...? Or do they know of places near them that might be available? Is there anyone that might have other ideas that are viable? Or information that might be helpful... ? Does this help? The difference between an Essentially and a Basically is that in the Essentially movies (like in Essentially Juli) it is just professional adult actors/actresses. In the Basically movies... it's with fans somehow involved... whether they do a scene or are in the background.. or any other way that we might put them in the film... I'm offering a chance to help me come up with ideas... maybe ways to get closer to them... by asking about locations.. or ideas period. Once I have some ideas to start with.. then that is when the professional will get called in to deal with all the details... make sense....? hope this helps.. hugs

I live in the north of England, in Yorkshire (aka God's Own Country). We're located on the edge of the wilds, Bronte country (think Wuthering Heights - but not too much cos it's a shocking book). Beautiful moorland, with no people around. Evocative ruins, like Middleham castle, favourite residence of one of history's most famous (and most wrongly maligned) figures, King Richard III. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. We have nightclubs aplenty, luxury hotels (my sister is manager of one of the most exclusive hotels in the country - clients include, Robert Redford, Joaquin Phoenix, Tom Sellick) and I know of a fine house with a splendid swimming pool which would be at your disposal for the duration of your stay. How's that for starters?

And yes, John's Brazil movies definitely expanded his fan base, but something tells me that his type of shooting movies has more to do with it than anything like where it was shot. After all, Buttman's Bouncin British Babes and Buttman's British Big Tit Adventures do just as well in sales as his Brazilian movies... And what about Buttman's European Vacations? LOTS and LOTS of awards! Rio Carnival? none. Buttman Goes to Rio? none. And what Brazilian girls have made it as well as American crossover stars as Nici Sterling and Sabrina Johnson? Planet, you know I love ya, but personally I'm THRILLED that England is opening up as a viable porn market.
