A vampire themed movie requires just a little more work, the main effort being to take the camera off her ass for a second or two, LOL. The camera's not attached, it can be moved. Some porn stars do exceptional work. A lot of the excellent female talent chime in on this web site from time to time. But there is one male star that consistently does it right (at least for me) every time and he is Lee Stone. When he's in a scene, I know it's going to be good. He never dissapoints me. His co-star's hair is kept away from her face and neck, the scene is full of energy, it feels and sounds realistic, and he sometimes flips his co-stars upside-down, an awsome sight. Lee played a vampire in a vampire porn flick not too long ago and did a good job. He's a natural. Maybe one day I'll have the opportunity to make my own vampire porn film and will sink or swim with it. I picture it being a cross between Bram Stoker's Dracula and the Darkside of Jenna Haze. Categorically -- Not Too Many! How many women watch porn? Not as many as men. It's simple numbers. The three stars in it I remember are Beverly Lynn, Brandin Racklin and Ashley West. All the stars are great, but Ashley West brought out my fangs. What a body, what a neck! The bite scenes were all girl biting guy, which I wish was the other way around, but Retromedia did a nice job. Good film quality, some humor and the rest good vampire fun. It's soft porn at it's best. I keep a copy in the castle next to the unread Bram Stoker novel. And speaking of vampire stories, I write them. Hopefully I will try my hand at screenplays soon. But the business of writing and getting published or having a studio take interest in a screenplay is another matter where the odds are one in a ten thousand that you'll be heard, let alone get that story told. I don't watch the TV shows, I liked Twilight (what's not to like? It's hilarious), and vampire flicks were never the best kind of horror out there anyway - not enough gore for my taste, but I liked Interview for that reason. There's enough to go around, and I'm glad that young girls are being catered to (of course, the whole battered woman syndrome subtext is very troubling, and far more bothersome to me than the various types of vampire). I actually think that the "feminine" schtick is what bothers people the most. You don't seem to hear as much hoo-ha about all the other watered down, shitty genre flicks that get spewed out by big companies every week. [Link] |
