First, they were not shrink-wrapped. Second, the keep-case covers did not indicate any kind of publishing company on them (pirates?). Third, the discs themselves had obviously homemade printing on the lable side (pirates?). Fourth, the playing sides of the dics were scratched (used?). Finally, they don't even play!!!! My player, a standard RCA stand alone player (this years model no less!) says that the discs are incompatiable. This is not a DVD-ROM player, it's a standard home theater player. These discs are clearly very poorly made pirate DVD's. Do not order from this company. I am currently inquiring about their return policy. But I imagine I can kiss my hard earned money goodbye :/ [Link] |

I don't know how they are working things with their new US location, but when I have ordered video tapes from Europe (two different places), they have always come with neither labeling on the tape or the case. The web sites clain that this is for the purposes of customs. Apparently they figure that if customs sees a tape with no labeling that they won't take the time to watch it. It is possible that although Vidshop.com now has a US location, they are sending the videos to this location from Europe, and are doing the same thing with DVD's as they are with tapes. If this is the case, they may have also screwed up and sent you a PAL version of the disc (PAL is the video format used in Europe). [Link] |

Over 10 e-mails sent to their so called " customer services " and not one response!! I'm giving them several more days to sort this out before I pull my VISA payment.. I thought that maybe they were because the discs did not play on my RCA DVD player and the discs themselves were not the best quality... i.e. not shrinkwrapped and cheap looking printing on the discs. They are legal though. Just not top of the line quality. Also, I did get them to play using a DVD-ROM player. So, my apologies to VidShop. I jumped the gun in assuming the discs were ill-legit.
