Recently we had a shoot all lined up together, and I had already paid for her airfare and lodging expenses. She was at the hotel when I went to pick her up the morning of the shoot, when the staff informed me that she had left the premises with all her belongings 2 hours before I got there! I never even received ANY apology or explanation; she just took off without any consideration for me, all the time I wasted, and all the money I spent. As for Amber Peach, I wonder how come this girl still works in the adult industry. She has a long reputation of flaking on many people; don't take my word for it, search for her at www.pornstarperformance.com; you will be amazed by how many times she flaked on several people. And in a professional setting (especially the porn world) flaking is even worse because it can force a production company to call in last-minute talent (that is in many cases inferior) to do the shoot. In a nutshell, this kind of behaviour can lead to a shitty final product. A.T. [Link]

Click to expand i am not taking sides. i just think it's unprofessional to claim that someone flaked without explanation when you STILL don't have an explanation. i have no problem with blacklists for slackers. her history wasn't cited in the initial post, so all you have to go on is that she never made it to the shoot. that's the only certainty. surely you'd find out why before you tell everyone she's a flake, for the reason being that it would be embarrassing for your company to have to make a retraction if, say, her mother died. i don't even know who the girl is. [/quote] I don't have the time, reason or interest to argue with you over what is common sense and what is not. The bottomline is that when someone, whether a performer, camera man, PA, etc, is hired for a job, if she/he can't make it to the set for any reason whatsoever, all it takes is a simple phone call and a brief expalination for her/his absence; and when someone does not even care to spend 5 minutes and make that simple phone call, her/his unprofessional manners speak in volumes; and eventually that person will lose credibility. When someone doesn't have credibility in this or any other business, they can't get work; unless you my dear "ma meeshka" want to put your money where your mouth is, and take your chances in hiring them and making your own porn movie; something which I really look forward to see. Click to expand Any talent that replaces the flake shouldn't be considered inferior when they actually cared enough to save the day. I can be considered flaky... I don't show if I'm sick or have something else going on that I can pass along... thats being responsible... but I always give a heads up. I've been fired from an agent because I refused to work with an infection... so sometimes too much pressure can be placed on talent regarding our health... but bailing out on a paid trip when you are already there... with no calls or explanation is completely irresponsible... but how many "responsible" stars actually exist these days... I'd say Amber owes some $$$ and if I were you the one flaked on like that... after airfare and hotel costs were paid.... It is the very first time I am seeing these posts.....over 10 years later as it turns out. I appreciate everyone who wrote with their support of me. Thank You. The fact of matter is Amber Peach, to this day, has never ONCE contacted me with ANY kind of an apology or explanation. For the individual who said something like "maybe her mother died", you should know that I did my research. Within 4 days of Amber Peach flaking on me, I found proof that she was doing other projects for other producers. Doesn't sound like anyone died to me. Amber Peach is the ONLY booking out of SEVENTY FIVE I have done to date, that resulted in such a strange, bizarre scenario. I wonder if she is the only model ever to have flown cross-country to the city of the shoot....checked in to the hotel....then left 2 hours before I was to pick her up to do the shoot. Fact remains only one person knows WHY, and that is Amber Peach herself. [Link]
