A while ago in a post about the films "Lingerie" and "Pov Pervert" I gushed to director Mike John and producer Dion, "Where has all the bad porn gone?" Well, I have been answered.
Due to a recent string of bad experiences with either supbar product or intentionally misleading boxes and ads I am growing ever more impatient and frustrated with the state of pornography. I rent a Red Light tape that features a ridiculously short 12 minute scene for a girl prominently featured on the box. I rent Mr. Pete's ludicrous rip-off of Mike John "Pov Pervert" in "Pov Perversions" and get a product advertized as being over 2 hrs and 20 minutes long that is actually 1 hr. and 50 minutes long. And now good ole West Coast Productions has joined the list.
I rent "Sweet Teens & Black Cocks #4" which features a box promising "Anal in every scene." This has been true of all of the previous installments of the series but those have all featured Eurogirls. This one features more of the same with the exception of Haley and Red Heaven, two American girls. The top right hand corner of the box does show Haley getting anal from Mr. Marcus in a sideways missionary position. And the opening credits of the tape show the same thing. So, what's my problem? Well, it turns out that this anal sequence is absent from the place it is most important: the actual fucking scene. Unless XRentDVD.com sent me some weird one in a million copy that has a glitch where Haley's anal sequence is skipped over I would have to say they left it out. It is one thing to simply mislead an audience with calculated bait and switch or simply half-assed advertizing but it is another to actually film something and somehow manage to ship out the product with it edited out on accident.
At one time I thought West Coast Productions was pretty good. Now, everything I see from them is crap except for Brian Pumper and Jack Napier's work. This only cements my ill-will toward them. Also one of the girls in this tape has a lot of teeth missing. They try to hide it but a couple of times I could see and was really grossed out.

PS...During my short stay around here I have been a slave to Red Light, in large part due to the fact that I review their product quite a bit for www.bluedoor.com. Well, I look at the drama they are going through and the crap that WCP is up to now as well as the just plain disturbing rip-offs of Mike John that Mayhem (Sin City) and AnarchyFilms are up to and again must bow before John Stagliano and Evil Angel. More and more I am impressed at how long they have managed to maintain their quality.
