I'm thinking of subscribing to one of the large porn websites (Naughty America, Brazzers, Bangbros, Reality Kings, etc), and to me the key advantage of an internet site vs. just renting/buying discs is the ability to use feedback they get from their customers for what they want in the scenes -- the stars, the fetishes, the locations, the "plot".
So my question is whether any of the major websites have a clear advantage vs. the others when it comes to using customer input. Rather than just voting on how much customers liked scenes or pornstars, do any of them have a voting system that alerts them to use a new girl, or to try a new fetish, or do do a scene with a specific theme?

I'm currently not a member on any site. But judging by Porno Dan in here he is one of the people that often ask fans in here and on other places who and what they would like to see.
I have e-mailed realitykings several times about their content but has unfortunately never even gotten a reply from them.

^^ Both Brazzers and Naughty America have forums that you can post in regarding their content. Both have the producers reading the forums and occasionally they do take ideas from there in regards to the things you mentioned (though some might argue that neither one does it enough).

I've found Brazzers to be extremely receptive and responsive to feedback, to the point that they've used dialogue and other details that I suggested for a scene on their message boards.

If I were running one of these sites, I would have two tiers of membership: "Watcher" and "Producer" subscriptions.
The Watcher tier would be cheap ($10/mo) and give them access to watch all the content and vote on whether you liked the scene and the male/female performers.
The Producer account would pay a premium ($40/mo) to have access to the same content, plus exclusive access to a section of the website where you could "produce your own scene," by specifying what you want for performers (Amy Reid and Bill Bailey), location (backyard pool), story (stuck-up sunbathing trophy wife is first tempted and finally tamed by cocky pool cleaner's cock), action sequence (mutual masterbation, female orgasm, blowjob, deepthroat facefucking, 69, vaginal sex, vaginal creampie, anal, anal creampie).

Brazzers has gone way downhill in this regard, but they still pretend to care about customer input which is total BS. which is why I cancelled my membership awhile back. I now only pay for realitykings. They don't have much communication with customers but at least they're honest about it. Plus their product is way way more diverse than any of the other sites imo, so it's easier to find something you like.

TenpoundHer's question:
...Is worthy of a considered response. Personally, I prefer camsites (where one can communicate in real-time with a chosen model or couple). Using this method, you're soon going to discover if your requests are heeded.
The underlying issues with producing your own porn (via a studio) are far more complex (as contributors here indicate).
Firstly, the customer will need to communicate clear directions, scripting, props, costumes and locations to his cast and crew. I suspect most customers won't be prepared, unless they work in the Film Business already (or have very clear written ideas about their expectations).
Secondly, bizarre or "extreme" requests which some customers may require are likely to cause issues for the performers (or studio owners) that cannot be overcome during "shooting".
There's probably a "gap in the market" for better Cam Sites offering high-quality cam and audio, better performers and a more imaginative approach to scene development... But the central problem of how prepared a customer is when logging-on will need to be carefully addressed.
Kind Regards, NB

I should have mentioned in my outline, when I said the "producers" would be able to select the stuff they want in the scene, there wouldn't be a guarantee it would actually be made. The way it would work is producers could nominate (and vote for) a scene outline and other producers could vote for it as well -- the website would look at the top vote-getters, consider practical issues, their assessment the market value for such a scene, etc. and then include the winning concepts in their production schedule.
An example of this is a while back I watched a scene where Jenna Haze was in a classic business skirt-suit and ended up fucking her boss to get a promotion or whatever, and I remember thinking I'd like to see some sequels to the scene, with her fucking her way up the corporate ladder. On the websites today, members typically can only vote 5 stars to that scene, or at best they can post to the forum and say they want sequels and the website might shoot another scene with Jenna Haze fucked in a business suit. What I'd gladly pay for is a website that lets me outline my own sequels where she keeps fucking her way up the ladder to CEO and lets others vote with me to make them, or others could propose that the next sequel should involve Jenna sexually harassing her former boss and I might vote for that instead.

Okay TenPoundHer - Thanks for reply:
Although I'm only an amateur film-maker and script writer, I think we're into semantics here. A "producer" traditionally fronts the cash for a show. It's the director who selects "the stuff in the scene" (the action sequences) and, in fact, has to work within the confines of a producer's budget.
The film business is legendary for directors "running over budget". In the Porn World its self-evident production costs tend to be low. The main reason for this appears to be due to it being a high-volume business. In other words, porn flicks tend to be "throw away" consumer items (leading to the common problem of customers not being able to find DVDs of performers they like).
If I've understood you correctly, TenPoundHer you're suggesting producers act as online customers working together to nominate "concepts" for a production schedule. This could work in theory but we'd have to assume studio producers see this as making economic sense. (In fact, the only way we could discover if this idea is feasible is by asking real producers if they think its a winner).
The Jenna Haze Sequels:
The basic idea of Jenna "fucking her way up the corporate ladder" sounds like fun to me. Would it be put into production? It would be a feature length film for a start. In the "ordinary" film making world, these are the most expensive films to produce...

I used the term "producers" in the subscription marketing sense, not the common/literal sense. You could subscribe to a "producer" membership at the website, that would cost more than a mere "watcher" membership. Obviously they would not be true producers -- the name just reflects the selling point that the "producers" have some influence over what scenes are made that the common "watchers" do not.
The Jenna scene I mentioned would not be feature-length at all -- the whole idea is it would be like one of those old movie serials. Each episode would be 25-30 minutes, with 15-20 minutes of actual fucking and 10 or so minutes of setup/payoff dialog. I'm sure you're familiar with all those "theme" scenes like "Big Tits at Work" -- those are all stand-alone scenes, with the common theme of office sex. It would not be a big step to cast one of those stars in a series of such scenes, with an evolving plotline, to make it a bit more interesting. And with the "producer membership" concept, the plot would be generated by the customers a little bit at a time. "In this episode, Jenna is caught giving head on a hidden camera put there by her boss's secretary, and is blackmailed."

Ok TenpoundHer - thanks for the clarification.
Personally, I'm all for porn being "a bit more interesting". Stars like Ciccolina and Annabel Chong did their best to produce more imaginative porn (with mixed results). I'll even suggest 70s Porno Flicks at least attempted plot and humor in some instances. But those days are long gone...
The reality is porn actresses have very little power when starting in the business, while producers are driven by what sells most. (And, of course, producers can lack commercial judgement just like the rest of us).
Producer subscription sounds like a good idea - but would there be enough subscribers to make it a winner for the studios? We'll never know unless a scheme already exists, or a brave site owner takes a chance on a trial run.
Maybe we should ask Jenna what she thinks?

Back to my original question -- surely there are people on this forum that have had subscriptions to the various websites (maybe not all at the same time), so I would like to hear from them what websites are the most responsive to customer requests/input. In other words, if several customers request that girl X fuck guy Y, what website is most likely to arrange that pairing? Or if several customers want girl X to wear a corset under her pantsuit and take it up the ass from her boss, what website is most likely to film that scenario?

Well Tenpounder...
I checked the date you posted your request: 31 Aug 2012. I'm replying to you on:
15 Sept, 2012.
I couldn't help noticing only I have contributed.
Your Question: Surely there are people on this forum that have had subscriptions to the various websites?
Yes, I have one... But its more like a pay-as-you-go "subscription". One buys "credits", then has to sift through potential performers.
I'll name the website if anyone's interested.
There is no scripting on this website and (most) if not all the performers are amateurs. The only real benefits for the viewer come in the shape of a wide range of performers from which to choose, including couples who perform. (I haven't found any females who offer MMF, although some will do anal with a partner).
That's why I think the future will be more polished "camgirls" (some big name stars have resorted to camshows... Eg: Lupe Fuentes).
Kind Regards, NB
PS: Am I allowed to mention the website, or is that advertising?
