I've never spent a penny at any pornographic website in my life (unless of course if you count my internet subscription or the dozens of softcore stuff i have). I usually download it for free! Thing is i have no qualms with spending money on this kind of thing at all. In fact, if i'm half convinced that the millions of pornographic websites genuinely offer safe and reliable services, i will have already spent hundreds of dollars.
Last year i started using adultdvdempire which was indeed safe and reliable, but then recently i've been after a few titles that were currently out-of-stock there, so i decided to try somewhere else. I decided to use Excaliburfilms mainly because it was mentioned so often (so it had to be mainstream and popular i thought). As long as i recieve the dvds in few weeks or months time, i didn't really care that much about speed of delivery etc. I having some regrets now. Recently i've been receiving spam and dodgy subscriptions that i (and i'm sure most of us) don't want to have anything to do with. Worse was that the subscriptions could quote my email and password. Do they have my credit card info. as well?
Okay, maybe i'm just being paranoid. So what do you guys think? Is excaliburfilms safe and reliable and will i eventually get what i paid for? What over decent site would you guys recommend? Many thx

I have had good experiences with Excalibur. They just tend to be really slow.
In regards to spam, you should create a separate email account and just use it for dealing with adult sites. Unfortunately, porn sites have no qualms about giving away your email address.
This article is pretty good regarding paying for porn online.

That's not true. We're a porn site. We have a strict privacy policy. We would never give out or sell email addresses. If I had any knowledge of any of the retailers represented on our site giving away email addresses they would be removed from our site.

Yes, you're right. I should have stated that *some* porn sites have no qualms about giving away your email address.

Actually, that would be kind of stupid, your customerlist is worth money, why would you give it away to some spammers? And no, they do not pay a lot of money to get an email list.

This is from thebestporn.com:
5. Will I get SPAMMED if I submit my e-mail address?
The easy answer to this is "prepare to be spammed". Whether a site will spam you with porn offers or not, you always want to be prepared. I know it happens, but I honestly don't know how often. The best advice I can give you is to either signup for a free e-mail account (hotmail, yahoo mail, g-mail) somewhere that you can dedicate to your porn memberships. By doing this, you'll not only keep spam out of your personal inbox, but you'll keep your membership information in one spot. When you signup for a site, they usually e-mail you a confirmation number or information on how to cancel later. You never want to use a "fake" e-mail address when signing up for a membership, so using a free e-mail account you shut down later if needed is the next best way!

That's from a site about membership sites, while the topic is about retail sites. No serious retail site would be dumb enough to give away your email address.

You never know. It doesn't hurt to take a few precautions.
