Hi, Recently, I see more and more female pornstars wearing rings on their ring finger. Is this suppose to mean that they are married women who are in the business?
i actually prefer not to see the ring, it makes me a little turned off to see it, I guess I like to imagine the girl single and not thinking of or husband while she is getting laid. like recently I saw Sandy Sweet with a tat on her wedding ring even though she was enjoying the sex at least it seemed like it, it was hard for me not to look at the ring , just kind of killed the scene

if i'm not mistaken, our fav new girl of 2008 has hers tattoo'd on...
I know a lot of girls say in movies during their interview that they're married to make the scene more interesting but how many girls actually want to hide the fact that they're actually married. I mean I never heard Sandra Romain mention it in her movies. I think that was a part she wanted to keep private or something.
Who are you referring to here? Sandy Sweet? Because if so, she has stated several times in her thread that she's married to Varian Gray. If you're talking about one of the other actresses mentioned in the thread, then sorry, it means that I'm the one who has misunderstood something. :)
yep, true. i have talked about it all over the place both online and in on camera interviews. i think even i remember talking a little bit about him in the opening of Fresh Newcummers 3. our first year anniversary is actually tomorrow. though my IMDB entry has it wrong, we were married on August 8th. not August 5th. -- misunderstood something, Brandi? ahh, never believe the gossip. btw: i think you are absolutely gorgeous. xoxo Edited by - sandysweet on 8/7/2008 5:14:13 PM
Devon Lee could wear a wedding ring or a turban for all I care, she is still one damn sexy woman. Marcus London is one lucky dude, and so is TJ. She gets that somewhat disintersted look every now and then, but still hot. I don't mind a starlet being married, as long as they do scenes with someone other than their spouse. Francesa Le has branched out from Mark Wood I believe. Voodoo's wife is easy on the eyes, but their scenes are snoozers. Ironic as it is, I just rented two dvd's with the fabulous Holly Haston. She has a scene in the new Jules Jordan, and has a whole Score dvd with threesomes and what not. Looks like I'll have to leave work early now. Renting porng on your lunch hour- what a beautiful country.
It's kinda funny. Marriage seems to have turned into some kind of fashion statement or something. Weird. I don't have a problem with such things really but I don't really get the psychology of it either.
^RP, there's actually a discussion going on about marriage (as well as many other things) right now in this thread. I'd love to hear your thoughts about some of the things that have been written already. (Anyone else is welcome to join, too).
It's true, there are quite a few. I made a comment in another thread about how people would be surprised how many young mothers there are in the biz too. Some are married and mothers! I'd actually be willing to wager that in porn, the average age for getting married and/or for having children is younger than the same ages in the community at large. (In the US, that's 25.9 years old for first marriage and 24.9 years old for first child.) You can all make up reasons for yourselves about why that would be the case.
If you don't break the rules, you'll never have any fun! 717 Posts 10/06

No one will confuse me with being a star, but when I shoot I leave my rings on. I never really thought about it until one time a producer I was shooting for asked me to take them off. He felt that it would "wreck the fantasy" of the viewer. It was no big deal, I took them off for the shoot. But since I wear them all the time anyway, I never think about it.
I wish that more female performers would wear their wedding rings unless they're performing in school girl / teen oriented movies like 'fresh outta high school'.
