A couple of months ago, AVN ran a small item on the impending release of a series of videos/DVDs entitled My Dad's Dirty Movies . These were supposedly decent transfers of old 8mm loops into one-hour VHS tapes, with (presumably) 2-hour DVD versions to follow. The article says the titles were to be "released from Fallen Angel and Adam & Eve." I've been looking around and haven't been able to spot them anywhere, not even on Adam & Eve's website -- anyone have any idea where and/or if they're actually available? I'd really appreciate some info!

Yes they do exist, as I just watched the DVD a few nights ago. I should have a review coming out in a few days (depending on what hits the fan this week). It's a pretty good DVD, or at least the feature is, and a must have for fans of the old blue movies, since it's almost two and a half hours. I'm honestly not sure if they're all old movies or not, since some of them had a bit of the feel of today's movies that were given the blue movie treatment. I think I saw them for preorder somewhere, but I can't remember where.

astro's review

(greybeard, i answered you on rame before i saw this)

action-dvd generally gets up adam/eve preorders first. other stores follow suit when the titles are released a week or so later. adameve.com is very delayed when it comes to listing new dvd releases.

Astro & Steph:
Thanx very much for the info -- good review, Astro! I knew that as soon as I posted a WEHT, they'd start popping up all over the place! I've seen VHS versions (about 15 or more volumes, I gather) at Excalibur and a few other places, but, going by Astro's review, it looks like we'll get much more "bang" for the buck with the DVD releases. I don't know anything about Luc's father, but I know my father-in-law had a mess of those old 8mm loops, and we inherited those of them that hadn't rotted away in his house's damp basement! I wonder if I'll see anything "familiar" on these DVDs? It'll be interesting to find out!
